Lisa always has a warm and welcoming smile. This shop is in a quiet part of Tsawwassen Mills and relatively new, so you might not notice it. Next time you are at Guest Services, Miniso, Lindt, Saje or Shopper’s, make sure you swing by. Or just park by Entry 1 and make a trip to go there, it’s worth it! This is a cute cafe and they offer Danish style loaves as well as pastries and other specialty foods. Highly recommend the almond custard cream Danish; I’m sure it’s everyone’s favourite. Copenhagens are chocolate or vanilla glazed and my kids’ faves. Must enjoy immediately for best experience!!
Lisa was warm and welcoming. We brought home a bunch of pastries and my family and I just ate them all. I thought we were going to save some, but they were too good. The pastries are just like a traditional bakery in Denmark. I'm very happy this bakery is here. The bakery fills this Danish expat with nostalgia and childhood memories.
An incredibly pleasant surprise. These danishes are obviously better than your average danishes. I mean, this is mainly what they sell. But it's not just better or a bit better - this is several levels up from any danish I've had anywhere else, including ones from well-known bakeries. It's flaky on the outside like other danishes I've had it's always a huge mess but also buttery soft on the inside and bottom. Once you bite into it you'll know what I mean. The filling is great too, not too sweet or overpowering. We got 4 flavors: custard, custard almond, apple, ane blueberry. I ate the apple and custard almond and both were great although I think I liked the custard almond more it's more of a flat rectangle shape. I barely got a bite of the blueberry and didn't even get to try the custard because the kids ate them too fast. Normally I'm more of a croissant guy and danishes don't usually get me excited, but these danishes were top notch and I'd definitely got some again when I'm in T-Mills.
Truly traditional Danish Pastries created by a lovely Danish Baker! And yes, she is from Denmark & speaks the language! Her shop is in the quieter part of Tswwassen Mill mall close to an exit and whether you’re Danish or not, these pastries & breads are absolutely delicious treats for everyone! A real gem to find!!
The best "Rundstykker" I had. "Tebirkes" is also amazing.
Excellent experience today, I called in the morning to order bread. When I arrived it had been freshly baked, set aside and ready to go. Everything we tasted was awesome and true to Danish baking g.
A delightful, mom & pop bakery with goods that are sweet without being overpowering. I took home a tray of their shortbread cookies for tea and they were not only very inexpensive but also the perfect little treat. Can't wait to try other things
Super tasty and a welcoming. Definitely going back for more!
We bought 2 of the Flødeboller, one mint and one strawberry. Both were delicious, pillowy soft marshmallowy treats. Reminded us of being in the market in Copenhagen. Will definitely be back to try more items!
Amazing pastries like eating the ones they have in Denmark!
