I bought from groupon and it was one of my best purchases and experiences ever. The reception at the front desk was welcoming. The environment was clean, calm and inviting. The skin specialist was also very sweet and knowledgeable. She did an excellent job analyzing my skin and providing service. What I enjoyed most is that there was no push to buy any products, like what most places tend to do wrong with new customers. It was left open and inviting to ask questions. Recommendations were offered but not forced. An excellent first visit and impression. I will definitely return again.

I’ve been coming to my chrysalis for 19 years. Every stylist is professional and great to work with. They carefully go through exactly what you want and ensure you are satisfied with the end result. Very bad n unprofessional. I assume their laser equipments are not passing safety standard or their estheticians are not professionally trained. I purchased 4 IPL facial treatments. In my second treatment, the girl Emma made a laser burn mark on my forehead, it took a month to disappear. I did not complain at that time since it was not very noticeable after covering that area with my hair. The fourth treatment was done by another esthetician Needa. She made a deeper and bigger laser burn on my nose, it is still very red and noticeable after 10 days. I went back to their spa 3 days after treatment and wanted to talk to their owner to see what can be done about it. Owner was not there. The receptionist told me to come back in 2 days. Not to mention she didn't apologize on behalf of the spa, I don't feel that they have a sense of emergency to my situation. I told her to call a manager. She took some pictures of my wound and gave me an oily, dirty, almost empty bottle with a broken lid. The bottle says brightening serum. I asked her how will brightening serum help heal an open wound with skin peeled off. She said just use it. That's very unprofessional to tell customer to use a wrong product. It would just make it worse.  2 days later I talked to the owner on the phone. She said she can only refund me half of what I paid. She gave me a scar cream and told me the scar will disappear by weekend. The way she spoke to me sounds like burning customers' face is not a serious problem. I am a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding and I need to be in the pictures. I couldn't put make up on the open wound or I'll get infections. From all the trouble and damages they have caused, I only received 50% refund and the wound didn't even heal over the weekend as she promised...Will never go back.

I just came back from my chrysalis media-spa and salon a few hours ago. I was just so impressed by their knowledge threw out the 5 years i have been with them that i just had to share it! Every time I visit it is fun, warm and very pleasant! Especially my laser hair removal with Cathrin, she's very experienced and professional. My results are wonderful! I love going there! I won't be back. While the environment is relaxing, "the prices on the website have not been updated in a long time". I went to get a 60 min massage done and was surprised when the price was more than I was prepared for. Plus, the 60 min massage was not 60 minutes of massage. The 60 minutes included the time to set up and "consult", and left a much shorter time for the actual massage. The consult was actually quite a joke though since I informed the RMT that I wanted a focus on my neck and shoulders and proceeded to give me a full body massage.  The massage was relaxing and it was a safe environment. But the entire experience left me feeling cheated even if it wasn't their intention. So I won't be back.

My Chrysalis has been my go to place for hair with Noorin, nails with Sunny, and more recently facials with Love for the past seven years! All their staff are experts in their specialized fields and make you feel so pampered when you're there. I would definitely recommend the spa and salon to anyone who is looking for these services!

I have searched all of Toronto for a hairdresser I could trust and have had so many bad experiences! Noorin at this spa is absolutely amazing. She saved my hair and there is nobody else I would even think about going to. She is amazing, honest and I always leave feeling beautiful!

Great friendly and proffesional staff, atmosphere and the complete -" where health and beauty come together" concept really works. The friendliness of the staff - ensured that they really listened to my needs for pain relief,  skin treatments and great haircut experience.

A great spa, very clean and professional environment. Dr. Jinnah is a great chiropractor and a dedicated doctor. Her appointments are as scheduled with barely any wait times. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend this spa and would advise the public to avail package deals which are very economical as compared to individual packages

My experience at my charysalis medi-spa  is always a treat! The front desk is friendly, professional and competent. I recently had a facial with LEDA . her expertise in skin care made my experience an absolutely terrific one. Thank you, my charysalis medi-spa for the amazing treatment. I would recommend visiting the spa the next time you need to relax and be pampered.
