The best thing that you can do on a weekend is visit a museum. I love the exposition, you always learn something new every day. Knowledge and fun in the museum. Thanks
DRESSED FOR HISTORY: WHY COSTUME COLLECTIONS MATTERnIt’s a beautiful collection of dresses, shoes, and accessories from XVII-XXI centuries. You can touch history through beautiful hand made silk and lace, beautiful details of embroidery and silver buttons. You can sense how the dynamic of life was changing and how this dictated new fashion styles due to Industrial Revolution, wars and social changes. Wonderful exhibition.
It was nice. I came wth a group of students, as a volunteer and they had a interactive class about the native people. Games and also a room where they could practice archeology
What a nice experience!! I had a great time on the Museum of Vancouver. The exhibitions were cool and I learned about first nations and the history of Vancouver city.nnOne thing to notice: the access to museum is not simple buy public transport. You have to walk 10-15 minutes from a bus stop.
The ancestral tattoo exhibit and the mahogany project were so cool! The museum is also a great place to go to learn more about the history of greater Vancouver area pre-colonialism all the way up to the present day
