We had a blast at Science World with my kids ages 1 & 4 years. I would say it’s geared more towards kids 2 and up, but our 1 year old still found plenty to have fun with the water play area was a big hit!. We stayed for 2.5hrs and didn’t even get through all of it, so I think a family could totally make a whole day out of it if they wanted to.
We had a fantastic time at Science World! The interactive exhibits, especially the puzzles, were super engaging for both kids and adults. The hands-on activities and educational displays kept us entertained for hours. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the environment was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend this place for families looking for a fun and educational outing!
Very cool kids museum. Everything is made for kids to interact with. We're from Portland, OR and have a place called OMSI... This place is SO much better. The kids had a ton of fun. Some of their favorites were the rotating rock climbing wall, wheelchair race, create your own thenEnvironment video game, and the fun mind puzzle tables when you walk in. You could easily spend 3 hours there.
Great experience for kids and family! So much better and we are happy we visited this place coming out of other province. You can Re enter the place just get a stamp from the front desk and i recommend eating lunch outside and just go back. The restaurant inside is expensive and salty in my opinion. Over all it did not affect the rating for science World since we really enjoyed our visit there.
From BC Place, it takes just five minutes to reach Science World on the opposite shore by Aqua Bus. The museum has a good collection and provides lockers for storing personal items, which is especially convenient in winter when carrying a jacket can be cumbersome. Exploring the exhibits hands-free makes the experience more relaxed and enjoyable.
