We LOVED Science World! My small human 5 loved climbing in the world of Wonder. Of course. He was a huge fan of the Eureka science area, especially the air cannon that shot balls into the water pools. He really enjoyed the bubble show as well. I was disappointed that the outdoor exhibit was under repair....but I guess we will just have to come back!nWe came on the Saturday of a long weekend and arrived around 11am. When we first arrived the play area was extremely busy and humid so we explored everything else and came back when the younger kids would be needing a nap highly recommend.nThere was a cool tinker area where children could build with loose parts, 5 made a marble run and there were lots of peices available.nWe had lunch at the triple Os, there was a ton of seating. There were many bathrooms, all in good repair, and a nursing room in the play area.
We explored the science center amidst a bustling crowd of schoolchildren. The morning visit meant a bit of congestion, but my family thoroughly enjoyed the captivating show and engaging exhibits. The interactive activities piqued our curiosity, although some required patience due to the lines. Notably, my child found delight in both the cafe and the playground. ‍‍‍
It was fun. I wish I had taken the younger kids. My eldest 16 and I thought it would be more entertaining. But she's outgrown what it offers and I needed a child's energy to really get into the fun.
We came here on a special night for adults while visiting. It was really fun, and honestly better than what we expected. The place is really engaging with all the interactive games and learning centers. The alcohol serve was okay. Great time to unplug from stress.
During my kid’s first visit to Science World, we spent most of our time at the Wonder Gallery. It's the ultimate indoor playground for little ones in Vancouver. We absolutely loved all six areas in this gallery, especially the water table with its fountain and vortex, and the kaleidoscope where kids can arrange color blocks on a spinning table to create all sorts of patterns. It's just fantastic!
