Multnomah Whiskey Library

This place was the highlight of Portland trip for me. They do not take reservations over the phone so I suggest coming in and putting your name down before the night starts and hit up some other bars because it is going to be be a minimum of 1.5 hrs wait . Once your table is ready they give you 15 mins to come back. Such mesmerizing place once you walk in to the library. Feels like you walked into a Godfather movie. We started off with Lamb tartar and it was a hit. So much flavor. Highly suggested for an appetizer. For drinks I suggest talking to your bartender and get suggestions. Every table gets a bartender and a server. The bartender comes by your table with a cart and makes your drink by your table. I got the bee’s nose since I really like smokey drinks and it was super good. The wait staff and bartenders are friendly and nice. Overall such a good experience and a total hit.

We had a group of 6 and we were told the wait could be 1 to 3 hours. We put our name on the list and headed to another cocktail bar and about 20 minutes later they gave us a call. This place was great. We really enjoyed. The drinks were excellent. They really enjoyed the old-fashioned. This is also the place where Ben took Lauren on a date on the Bachelor.

Fantastic place to imbibe rare whiskeys and eat excellent food. They've changed a bit since the last time I went there, you can no longer come the day of or make a quick reservation in advance. They now require that you either pay an annual fee to become a member or pay a $25/person reservation fee in advance. Since I was traveling from out of town the latter seemed more reasonable. The bartenders are insanely knowledgeable and it's always a fantastic time. Definitely recommend

One of the best bars I've ever been to. Beautiful space, tastefully decorated and great selection of whiskeys and other spirits. Staff is knowledgeable and ready to help with recommendations. The wait can be long, but it's worth it and I appreciate the fact they only allow a few people at the time. You can put you name down and have a drink at the Green Room downstairs, or at one of the many bars in the area, for example Pepe Le Moko

We had a great time here. The selection is amazing, they really earn the name "library". The staff is extreamly knowledgeable and the server also being a bartender and rolling a bar over to your table is a great touch. If you are reading this, go try them and bring some friends! The social atmosphere here fits any group old enough to order from the menu.
