1. Very good service. The people were very nice and helpful and always there. For that, it was top notch. 2.The ambiance could have been better. The music was too loud and it was very difficult to talk, so that could have been way better. 3. The food was great. We took the tasting menu for 55$ and we had a great selection of food. It was good asian fusion. 4. I would suggest not to take the desserts as they are expensive for the quantity. 5. It is definitely on the pricey side, so I would recommend, but I am not rich to come back every month.
Great vibe and ambiance, the music was really good , a lot of old school hip hop! It’s a nice option for a drink and a bite to eat. The cocktails were delicious, asian fusion tapas style to be shared, the food was good but a bit on the pricier side, the service was excellent! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area!
Went here with 4 people, took the largest tasting menu, where we were able to taste 3/4 of the entire menu. The chefs decide which dishes are served and we were pleasantly surpised by the presentation and the tasty food if there is a particular dish you don't want it is possible to request that with the waiter. The menu contains mostly vegetarian or pesquitarian dishes, asian fusion cuisine. Quite a few assortments of fish dish, and I hate fish, but the sauces paired with them really made the fishy taste hardly noticeable in raw fish dishes, cooked fish was still fishy. The interesting part about this restaurant is the fact that they switch up their menu every few months with interesting new asian fusion dishes. So you never get bored. A must try, and my favorite dish; is the duck. Eaten peking duck style but with a lettuce wrap, this duck is seasonned quite well but not overpowering and compliments the meat perfectly. Least favorite dish is the mint and beets salad. I'm not a fan of the moutful of mint. Too bitter for me, but I guess it's an aquired taste : Presentation of dishes is handled with care, service from staff is top notch, ambiance is very nice where you can drink and take your time to savour your meal. Aesthetically pleasing! Highly recommend for people who are down to have good food and splurge a bit on special occasions!
Everything was so delicious. We had the porc wontons, the green beans, the squash dumplings and the ribs! Our server’s name was max and he honestly gave us such an amazing detailed explanation of all the food and it just completed the wonderful experience.
Probably good for a small group event or going out with friends, but it was too loud for having conversations. The food was also a "nice try but needs some working on" as there were a lot of good flavors but their matching was wonky. Feels like the restaurant is still a bit disorganized in its style and brand.
It is an exotic mix and match style of the Asian League, which is full of expectations. Duck dumplings is a must-try.
This is one of the best places I've eaten in Montreal, the food tasted as if it was a fancy and expensive restaurant. The staff was so nice, the drinks were very unique and also tasted great. Every food item was better than the last, I still talk about it to everyone and I visited 6 months ago! Definitely go if you have the chance to.
Went to mui mui yesterday for the first time and we really enjoyed it! The cocktails were tasty and they had a good wine selection. I recommend the tasting menu for 2 people as you get to taste most of the items on the list. But mostly the service was incredible... water always filled, food is well explained, plates changed between services. Thank you Sara and Max for your attention to details!! Keep it up
Excellent service! With decent drinks. We took the tasting menu and everything was well presented. But... the food lacked flavor and the ribs were wayyy too salty. The only good dish was the beef salade and the white chocolate dessert.
Everything would have been fine if not for the hour and half that we waited just to get a glass of wine after we order. Food took way way too long to come out and by the time it did we were over it and ready to leave. Everything was fine and we would have had an average time if everything went normally. On the more expensive side for an overall average experience.
