Il faut essayer la succulente soupe tonkinoise, sinon on ne peut pas dire qu'on a déjà mangé du "Phở"! Faite avec des vrais os et bouillie pendant au moins 6 heures!
Un peu d'histoire...
Tonkin: Région du Nord du Vietnam dont la souveraineté était assumée par les Français après la guerre franco-chinoise (1881-1885). Le Vietnam était alors divisé en deux autres parties soit l'Annam (Centre) administrés par les Français aussi et la Cochinchine (Sud).
Phở: Soupe tonkinoise en français. Provient d'une expression souvent dite par les Français alors qu'ils mangeaient un Phở: "C'est bonne comme une Tonkinoise!" La soupe tonkinoise serait originaire du Nord du Vietnam d'où elle doit son nom.
