A fantastic place to buy a bike or biking equipment, lots of selection at different price points. Friendly and helpful staff that go the extra mile. Unfortunately I can't recommend bringing your bike here for service as there have been multiple instances where they have returned the bike in a broken/unridable condition. Incredible customer service but the quality of work on bikes is a crapshoot.

I am writing about the outstanding customer service my wife and I have received at Mud, Sweat and Gears in Red Deer. I believe I have had dealings with every employee at this location and I can say without a doubt, they are the most knowledgeable and customer oriented employees I have had the pleasure to deal with. From the moment I walk into the store, I am greeted and made to feel important, no matter how busy they are or how small my purchase may be. I have had both my wife’s bike as well as my own bike worked on by different staff members. Whether it was to add on a new part or some minor repair, the crew here has gone out of their way to get the job done, if not immediately, pretty darn quick! They have not hesitated to stop working on another project to add a new accessory on my bike so I could enjoy a ride that day. I have to admit that I was a little intimidated the first time I walked into the Red Deer Mud, Sweat and Gears store…I didn’t know there were so many styles and brands of bikes available. On top of that, I’m looking at young people who obviously are hard core mountain bike enthusiasts while I’m 55 years old and am a casual rider. My fears were quickly set at ease as I dealt with the staff members. My wife and I will only deal with this store when it comes to bikes and bike accessories in Red Deer.

this is by far the best shop in red deer for bikes skiing and snowboarding i would recommend anyone who wants to get into any sport or someone needing bike parts. i love this shop
