Mr. Six Fried Chicken

Another Great Local Fried Chicken Joint!!! I have stopped into Mr. Six a few times in the past to satisfy my cravings for a good Chicken Sandwich. Well, guess what? Mr. Six delivers!!! Mr. Six is a local family-owned Chinese Fried Chicken Restaurant, serving Fried Chicken, Chicken Sandwiches, Wraps, Wings, toothpick chicken, Rice Boxes and sides. What separates Mr. Six from other Fried Chicken Joints is the marinade. The chicken itself has a really nice flavour, and the Chicken sandwich is really good. So far I've tried the regular Chicken Sandwich and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The sandwiches are very well made and I've had no issues so far. The outside of the chicken patty is crisp and the chicken inside is always moist and juicy. The Chicken pieces are amazing as well. Given that Mr. Six is 5 minutes away, it is one of my local go-to Chicken places when I have a craving for good fried chicken. If you haven't tried Mr. Six give it a shot you won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend ordered us the fried chicken combos through Skip The Dishes from Mr. Six Fried Chicken. We live 7 minutes away from Mr. Six but we were too super busy to go over there, order and pick up. Skip gave a delivery time of 41 minutes. The app stated Mr. Six was preparing our order. In any case, the Skip driver shows up on time. Our chicken and fries arrived ice cold. It's like Mr. Six prepared the food 40 minutes prior to delivery and just sent cold chicken and cold fries with the driver. The flavour of the chicken was amazing. The fries had a nice coating and were seasoned well. I am sure it would have been even better if the food was actually hot. Going forward, we will not be ordering anything from Mr. Six Fried Chicken. We could have used that money to buy food from another restaurant that would have served hot food. This is why I am giving them 1 star.

So happy this opened in Markham. We came here on a Friday night and didn’t have to wait too long. Service was good and most people are there to get takeouts. Free wifi available while you are waiting. We tried salt and pepper best!!! and cumin flavour. They have many deals on Ubereats and other delivery platforms. I recently noticed this place Mr. Six while driving along HWy 7 just west of Kennedy in Markham. Thought I would try the Wednesday special... 3 pieces of chicken strips for $4.99. You can pick your flavour of spice Cumin, Salt & Pepper or Curry. I choose Curry and was really tasty. Strips were quite meaty and the batter was crispy. It was delicious. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and the Mexican wrap. The chicken was very oily, though the chicken in the sandwich was juicy and crispy. The wrap was very dry. Was really excited to try based on the ratings but though it may be an off day today, likely not to try again.

Great place for some taiwanese fried chicken. The combo seemed like the best deal and I had the takoyaki as the side dish instead of fries. The burger was really crispy except it was a little bit salty. The chicken was soft and tender with a little less crisp than the burger but still quite delicious. I really enjoyed the takoyaki. It was soft and I could get all the flavours and tastes of the takoyaki and surprising coming from a “fast food” joint. Service was quick, server was friendly and it’s pretty clean. Just when trying to get to know where to enter when driving seemed a bit tricky so slow down as you get near or you might just miss it the first time you go. They also have dedicated parking for their place on the side. Will definitely come back and let the family try for themselves.

There place is cozy. Seating for a few, but currently moved aside. Chicken is pretty good. The batter is not too thick and is crispy. It's pretty juicy. Tried the salt and pepper: was ok. Tried the cumin flavor: pretty good. Tired the curry flavor: probably the best. They also have some hot spices/flavoring as well. Pricewise, it's ok. Thursdays special is good - 3 pieces dark meat, drumstick and/or thigh for 5.99$

It's at where Subway used to be. Kinda like KFC or Popeye Louisiana chicken style. Got a bucket of 12 pieces. Not crispy, taste okay but the seasonings need to be more even. Asked for Salt and Pepper, but it contained a few pieces with deep cumin taste.

Chicken sandwich was ok, did not like the fries. I didn't think it was anything too special, also why does the payment terminal ask for a tip when they don't even serve your food to you, you have to get it yourself. Tip for what exactly??? Putting my order in?

I had fried chicken here today and ordered fried chicken wings, legs and breast. They are so delicious. The chicken is crisp and tasty.
