Mr Pizza

I went with some friends and we had three 12 inch pizzas, which were BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken seen below and Chicken Alfredo. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and they had all 3 pizzas done in about 10 minutes and we only had 20 minutes left to dine in. We offered to take them to go, but they kindly said we could stay and enjoy are food. All in all we left 3 minutes before closing with our bellies full and a positive experience, the BBQ Chicken was my personal favorite. Can definitely say I would go again, and all the staff are very kind and hospitable. Vegetarian options: They have a Veggie pizza on the menu.

Best taco pizza I have ever had!! My mom also said best 4 meat pizza. Even though they were on the same pizza half and half, they did one hell of a job!! It was absolutely perfect for both sides!! Perfect for the prices, huge slices, fresh delicious toppings, and perfectly put together!!Food: 5/5

Ordered a Deep Dish Pan Style Pizza.The pizza was pretty good.. ingredients tasted fresh with lots of sauce and cheese. Crust was ok ,could have been thicker being a "Deep Dish" but overall a good experience if you're looking for a quick lunch bite.

Huge delicious slices of pizza! 2 slices an a drink $8 can't beat that. You can even buy a frozen ready to bake pie to have the deliciousness in the comfort of your home! Stock up your freezer.Food: 5/5

I had remembered eating shrimp pizza at Mr. Pizza as a kid. I remember being nuts for it. They no longer offer shrimp as a topping... bummer. I got a "pan style" crust that had no crispness to it, let alone any crunch. This place seems to be operating using the recipes from the 80's, and unfortunately, that was the pinnacle of blandness and fast food. The cheese on the pizza seemed good. I would compliment that. I rolled my cheese off of the mushy bland crust to make a little cheese and veggie taco, and that was decent. My husband and I both ordered our own 14 inch pizzas. We both ate 2 slices and left the remainder of both behind, and I don’t like wasting food. But there was really no way to salvage that food.

I mean what's there to say... Best pizza in Rochester. When we travel it's still our standard, we always ask ourselves is it better than the Mr. Pizza Special. I've eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of different places. Hands down Mr. Pizza Special is my favorite.Food: 5/5

Really good, authentic feeling pizza place. The cheesy garlic bread was my personal highlight. Thing was like 4 inches tall I swear. Also very very friendly staff who actually seem to enjoy working there, which is rare and maybe a testament to the way the owner's treat their staff. If I'm back in the state I'll probably get another pie.Food: 5/5

Pizza slice lunch special is fantastic! We've gone for dinner too. Good pizza. The pan pizza wasn't our favorite, the dough wasn't "fried" or greasy enough.

Great pizza, you can tell the mozzarella was fresh. The garlic bread with cheese was done perfectly. The pizza is a touch on the expensive side, but you understand why as soon as it comes in out. They are very generous with the toppings!

We had ordered a pizza for takeout when we got it home we had an issue with the pizza so we called to let management know we were told that she would forward the issue on to the owner and if we recieved a call back it was something the owner was interested in resolving if we didnt hear back from them this was something they were not interested in resolving we did wait to get a reply and never got a call back this is concerning. The last time we placed an order at Mr Pizza south was the last time. Jim
