The Boulder Tap House

This one got by me! I ate here with a friend on New Year’s Eve 12-31-22 and before that, with my sister a few months before…this review will mostly focus on the latter visit, since it’s more recent… 1st off I’ll say the food is QUITE good, the portions quite large..ANY of they’re burgers would be an EXCELLENT choice, my friend and I both trying a different one he had the steakhouse mushroom Swiss and they’re both worth the “price of admission”…The menu is “quite large” so there is something for everyone, and although the design of the place has more of that “sports bar” feel and look to it, it’s def. a place you can take the whole family….my friend and I sat at the bar, which is huge, and features 3 large big-screen tv’s above the bar, so wherever you sit you can watch…It would be a great place to hang out in on “Game Day” to watch the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves or the Wild! The bartender takes your order and brings out your food, which curiously is the norm even if you don’t sit at the bar…such was the case when I was there previously with my sister…she had JUST commented on seeing only one waitress working, and jokingly said that she wondered how long it would be before we were waited on…Well, a couple of minutes later, here comes the bartender out from behind the bar to take our order…he promptly brought the food out when it was ready as well In closing, I would say that The Boulder Tap House is a good, consistent place to eat and drink, with they’re large selection of beer and a huge menu, it’s more then enough to keep you coming back again and again for more!

Wings were great; came fast and hot. Server Sofia was super nice! Dog friendly patio!

Boulder tap house is located in the Miracle Mile area of Rochester MN. This sports bar is very clean and spacious. Their cheese curds are insanely good! The avocado chicken sandwich was hot and tasty with fresh pico de gallo and golden chicken breast. Fries were also delicious. I definitely recommend this spot for great service and elevated bar food. The management is very open to feedback and care deeply about running the business in impeccable shape. Very impressed!

Went there for breakfast, wow. Absolutely delicious breakfast! The French toast is like a dessert . We will for sure be coming many more times for sure!!

Went here with my coworkers originally and the service was very spotty and it didn't go well so I reach out to them and they gave me some coupons to give it another try. Brushed it off as they just opened. I'm very glad I got the opportunity to try this place again and was not disappointed this time all our food was correct and delicious! Service was much quicker and a lot more professional. My friend got a burger and I got some tacos and my other friend got another burger all the food was good drinks are cheap and atmosphere was relatively decent.

Had a great experience here a month ago, not such a good one last night. The service was pretty bad, waited at least 20 minutes for the server to finally take our receipt for us to pay at the end, not to mention almost really no service the whole meal. My wife got a pulled pork sandwich and it was almost all fried onions and some scraps of pork left, my guess is they ran out of pork and thought we wouldn’t notice, but it was gross and she didn’t finish half of it. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich and fries were good, the shake we got was very melted and thin, just overall not a very good experience, probably will avoid going forward. The fried pickles were decent but holy grease, the whole bottom of the tray was a pool of grease when we were done.

This has quickly become one of our favorite places to do pick up orders from on a Friday or Saturday night as we hardly ever get out to eat anymore with little ones at home. I am obsessed with their tots that melt in your mouth with their sauce. My order is always ready at the time I was given which is always a quick turn around from the time I order. Also, I observed the bartender working the evening of 10/14 and wow was he busy but he was a total rockstar it was pretty impressive to watch, especially when he became stretch Armstrong pouring two tap beers at opposite ends of each other at the same time. Just thought I'd share my two cents. Also, the brown sugar bacon is the best bacon ever.

Atmosphere was great, service was fast, and every last bite of food was amazing. Cheese curds were the best I’ve had in my life. I would drive hours to have this food. 100% recommend trying this place.Recommended dishesHouse Made Boulder Cheese Curds

Excellent dinner while visiting nearby Mayo Clinic. Cool sport bar, good beer selection. Staff were very accommodating. Good food, I try House Made Boulder Cheese Curds, & Ribeye steak Tacos. We’ll definitely return when back in Rochester.

Stopped in today to order breakfast. I ended up with 2 eggs Over easy meal and my wife ordered breakfast tatchos. My breakfast arrived as ordered. My wife’s order was delayed and arrived as lunch/dinner of tatchos. Brought the mix up to the attention of the server and all she could say was she ate them. Breakfast menu was very limited and from the service that we have received we will probably stick to Brother bar and grill since their breakfast is way better than boulder tap house.
