Great service, staff are always warm and welcoming. Food taste amazing and proportions is great. Never any issues thus far. Great location as well. The restaurant is also kept very clean each time I come, which I appreciate. Definitely recommend and will keep coming back! Only thing I ask for is a little more pita bread for appetizers, otherwise everything else is great. Update Thursday May 26, 2022: My mother had gotten take out today and hers was fine however, mine was not. There was a super long hair in my chicken gyro. I have never had any issues prior at this location but this is unacceptable. I’ve seen another review a customer had this happen to, so maybe employees should keep their hair up in hair nets or something to prevent this from happening. Hygiene safety is a must! -1 star for this.
I was driving through the neighbourhood when I saw the Mr. Greek sign and decided to stop for some Greek food. The staff was incredibly nice in comparison to other Mr. Greeks I've visited in the past. I got a pork meal with fries and a pork pita sandwich. When I brought it home and unwrapped it, I was blown away by how nice it looked. After such a long period, it was wonderful to enjoy Greek food again. Will be coming back soon.
Horrible dining & customer service experience with Mr. Greek at Bathurst & Carrville. We had 2 families with 4 adults & 2 kids celebrating the family day together last Monday evening. The restaurant seating area was very dark. We arrived at 6:40pm and my husband went to line up to order the food. We have been dinning at many good Greek restaurants and didn’t know what to expect with this location as it was self serve style. We were ok with that as long as the food was good as our kids were hungry. The receipt showed we ordered at 6:59pm & 7:10pm because 2nd family ordered via their iPad. Both families ordered the exact same items - feast for 2 $36.99 and a chicken pita $7.29. Our first order came at 7:48pm, since my daughter was starving so we let her eat first. When we opened the container of our chicken souvlaki, there were only 4 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of potatoes. We were very disappointed as the pictures were misleading showing huge portions on the flyer/ menu but we didn’t say anything. That was until our friends’ order was ready. Their order came at 8:11pm. It had been over an hour to get the food. As soon as they opened their containers, we found our order was missing one stick of chicken souvlaki on each dinner. My husband took a pic of the two different portions and showed the different portions. Instead of correcting the issue they asked why we didn’t bring this up before eating the first dinner. How could we know the exact portion if we didn’t see the comparison. Another staff member came with the missing food and a weak apology. At the end, it took 2.5+ hrs start to finish. Other than that it was a perfect Family Day meal. We will never step foot in this Mr Greek location or order anything from them. The food was average, Jimmy the Greek in Hillcrest Mall’s food court has much better food with way better service, and it’s just a food court vendor. Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest review I can give. I would give negative rating if I could! Better off going to Jimmy the Greek.
This location is okay, Have tried it few times and it’s a hit and miss, their food tend to be dry and not too fresh at times. It’s a prime location so you would think they’d be more busy, but it’s usually quiet there
SO very disappointed! Side Greek salad container was only 1/2 to 3/4 of salad with barely any feta and two minuscule olives. The dine-in portion is larger so how do you justify what you offer at take out. Was pathetic for what they charge. Grilled chicken salad - $17 - the piece of chicken was smaller than the palm of hand. Portions are very small for the price charged. NOT going back. Ever. My hard earned money will not be wasted on this location again.
We ordered 10 meals for our office, and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived that everything was ready & well packed. The manager, and the new cashier were super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to order again.Recommended dishesGyros, Chicken Souvlaki, Greek Salad
We ordered two original gyro dinners. We were absolutely shocked at the portions. Chicken gyro small crumbs not even 2ounces of chicken and 4 potatoes. Beef gyro only 4 slices. Like serious poor portions. Absolutely NO VALUE FOR MONEY. FEEL CHEATED. will definitely not ever come back to this location. Nor recommend it to anyone. Nothing looks like the pictures of your other guests. Feel that we were take out we were taken advantage of You lost a repeat customer
worst food I ever got from here. pitas were kids size. salads were tiny for paying 7 dollars extra. I never got the bread I was suppose to. and i paif 8 dollars for hummus and pita and got one pita chopped up. my guess so u can use it fot anything else. i will think before ordering again.
The food was disappointing. We love Mr. Greek and our favourite location was hywy 7 & Weston Rd but they closed down. We decided to try this location and all of us were not satisfied. Potatoes were undercooked and the meat was chewy. Sorry but I have to be honest about our experience.
Mr. Greek at Bathurst/Rutherford location, the food did not taste like Greek food. The potatoes and rice were over cooked, the chicken kabobs had no flavour. The cashier tried to rip me off by an extra $23 dollars by adding an extra side rice which she did not mention would be extra. Rice doesn’t cost that much for three dinners. When handed the bags with the food which I paid approximately 57 dollars, there was no thank you or smile. The cashier was still upset that I had noticed that my bill was extremely high for three meals. She wanted to charge me over 75 dollars for three dinners of 1 chicken kabob dinner and no drinks added. Will never order from there again. There’s other great Mr. Greek locations where the food tastes good.
