Our whole family enjoy eating at Jimmy the Greek Hillcrest. They have the most juicy, tender chicken souvlaki than any Greek restaurants so far we have. We would choose from chicken souvlaki dinner, lamb leg or lamb chop dinner. The whole meal comes with rice, 4-5 pieces of potato and their signature Greek salad. The potato cooked perfectly and we really love the seasoning, very tasty with the tzatziki sauce. Their home made hot sauce was very flavorful and we asked for it every time. Their salad was always fresh, we usually include everything with black olives. Staff are very friendly. Fast service every single time. Large portion. Price are very reasonable. Will visit again very soon.
I went there for lunch today. I ordered from a middle aged man to the far left of the counter. I ordered a chicken souvlaki meal and a shrimp meal. He then told me that it would take 5 mins to cook the shrimp so I said fine. He then said it would take closer to 10 minutes to cook the shrimp which I agreed to also. He was then reluctant to take my order and so asked me to pay for the entire meal before he would start prepping and cooking the shrimp. That is when I got upset. I asked him why I had to pay beforehand and he wouldnt reply. He was very rude as was his asistant beside him. If he didnt want to cook the shrimp meal then why is it on the menu ? Why did he try so hard to deter me from ordering the shrimp meal ? I have ordered the same shrimp meal from jimmy the greek at Markville mall and did not experience these hassles even though it did take a few minutes to cook the shrimp. If you are too lazy to cook what you are offering on your menu then you should not be in this business. If I could give a zero star rating here I would have.

Staff is beyond rude and so unsanitary. Manager is handling cash and touching the food and wiping the counter. Also in the kitchen while not wearing hair net. Go here if you want hair in your food and germs in your chicken.
Bad food. Cold pieces of chicken souvlaki with raw rice. My dad wasn't able to swallow the food. Just awful. This is the Hillcrest Mall location.
Priya I hope I spelled her name right is one of the kindest people that has ever taken and prepared my order! She is super friendly! The food was delicious! The cashier was also nice and efficient.
I came and visit this location today and ordered Chicken Souvlaki Meal. I am kinda disappointed due to several reasons. The rice is kinda hard and seems that it wasn’t cook well and tastes like plain rice with a yellow color. The chicken was dry and tastes like salmon. And the potato is sour. I don’t know what’s going on but I hope this won’t happen again to me or to anybody else. 3 stars were given coz I’m able to swallow it and finished the whole meal even though I had sad eating experience.
The owner and staff are very impolite and they don’t know how to speak with customers. When I waited with my baby to pay the waitress didn’t care us and she started to put the forks and spoons in the counter top. When I asked her to serve me she spoke very impolitely and said to me you have to wait. The owner behaved like her staff. They made me nervous and caused me spoke loudly and my baby cried more.
One of the counter lady was extremely rude, I wanted grilled salmon well done She replied the salmon is already cooked and on the display and that I can take a look and asked me if I want it or not with very rude tone How do I know if it's well done or not? Coz you can't tell by just looking at it, and on the display the salmon is kinda soggy soaked in water It's not my first time eating at Jimmy the Greek so I know that they can do the salmon well done I have to asked to speak to a manager just to order a grilled salmon well done, unbelievable! the manager was very nice and polite though They really need to re train that rude lady in customer service
Nice food with very good customer service. Love to visit here every weekend
