I have been a longtime consumer of this pizza. I always thought it was a great solution to large family dinners. We were so excited to try the Steeltown Chow pizza and we usually order our pizza well done. After we drive across the mountain to pick it up we got home to find out the underside of the pizza was burnt so badly you couldn’t bite through it. They also gave us less wings than advertised but don’t bother complaining if you’re unhappy. These guys gave me the run around for a week and never fulfilled their promise to make any of this better. They offered a refund at the time but when I called back to talk to the manager they revoked the offer. It is what it is when you pick up a giant pizza from Mister Grande. Too bad the prices have gone up and the quality hasn’t. Disappointing. *corrected for grammar recently as the photos has over 4,000 views. No one ever tried to "rectify" anything with me.
Very good pizza and the name says it all Grande meaning big bigger than average medium good service clean Place good food. These guys also make a huge 64 Square Pizza
I found my new pizza place for the east mountain. Excellent pie. Got the Spicy Char which has the cup and char pep, garlic and hot peppers. Pizza is well done like a pizza should be. Place was very busy, guys were working hard and pleasant. Parking: Lots of free parking
Pizza was delicious. We bought the night before we needed due to the business hours not accommodating our required time the next day. The guys gave me smaller boxes to repackage to accommodate a regular fridge. We will definitely head there again when we require a large amount of pizza.
Mr. Grande is always a great value. I picked up a junior slab for Halloween tonight and snuck a piece when I came home. It's always fresh and delicious. Prices have increased and that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. I get that they've increased everywhere, but I don't have to like it. Thanks again for another great pizza.
We ordered 4 massive pizzas this past weekend. I don't know if it takes better hot and cheesy, or cold when it's fluffy. So so good. Easy on the sauce and flavors. My new fav pizza location in the city.
The best pizzeria in Hamilton hands down! It is authentic Italian owned and made with pride and you can tell by the quality of the ingredients, so fresh and so tasty! My personal favourite is Spicy Char. The staff are all amazing and one of the owners, Dave, is truly a gem, friendly, passionate about his food and always makes sure you get a great pie! Highly recommend!
Ordered from here before, it's been okay in the past.. our last order was completely a different story. The pizza was overcooked and chewy, wings were dry and garlic bread was hard as a rock. The customer service was brutal not even a sorry needless to say, I'll be thinking twice about ordering from here again.
This pizza place is not good. First of all I walked and bought 2 jumbo round pizzas both with 3 toppings. When I got home I noticed the pizza was very Burt on the bottom and the toppings were minimal and the cheese was almost non there. I was expecting a much better pizza but I need another review of Burt pizza. Also I was lied to by the person there I asked if they deliver to Brantford I was told for certain orders. Now I find out they don't even know I am 26 minutes away and I am sure the have a heated insulated pizza bag. The only way I will ever deal with them again is with a fully free meal replacement of both pizza
Usually mr grande is our go to for ANY party we have been getting pizza from them for years. The last 2 times I’ve ordered, there has been an issue with their debit machine at delivery and I was forced to pay cash, after trying multiple cards. Again this happened to us today, after 3 attempts I was forced again to pay with cash. When I called to complain at the restaurant they said the driver should have known how to fix the machine and it was not a card error. I also PRE ordered a week ago for today and did not receive a 6 pack of dipping sauce we ordered, no sorry or anything to fix the issue. Will rethink before we order next time.
