Story

At Mountain View Bowling, bowling is our passion. Our goal is to offer bowling in Calgary where friends and family can come together for the ultimate in bowling entertainment. With both 5 pin and 10 pin bowling in the same location, we are dedicated to giving you the best bowling experience possible!

We are bringing back the 50's with our Retro decor to give you an authentic bowling atmosphere. From the retro diner to the vinyl chairs, you can't help but feel the nostalgia!

Went out with the family last night. Hard to get 2 teenagers to want to do something with their parents. But, we had a blast!nThe place seemed really clean, staff was friendly, the music was perfectly 80s. I can’t remember the last time I bowled 5 pin but will for sure go again.nMy husband booked online and when we go there all we needed to do was give them our shoe sizes, our names were already set up in the system.
This place has gone drastically downhill since acquired from mountain view bowling. We were in tonight, August 16, 2024 with 4 kids and 2 adults. We were told that our group would “never finish a game in an hour” as they pressured us to buy 90 minutes for just under $100! We finished the game in well under an hour. Aggressive and high pressure sales tactics.nnThe food we ordered was a total ripoff. A tiny portion of fries was $7.50. The portion size was roughly the same number of fries you’d get from a kids meal at McDonald’s. My 9 year old daughter went back to the kitchen to ask for a glass of tap water and was informed that it was not free. My 7 year old daughter was given 2 left bowling shoes and when she went back to ask for the right shoe they told her they won’t spend all day swapping shoe sizes for her.nnThe atmosphere is a complete construction zone with a broken sink covered in black garbage bag in the women’s washroom, tented, inoperable arcade games, open wood framing around the entire place.nnWe attended frequently when it was Mountain View Bowling. We will never come back to any Splitsville location. Do not waste your money here.
Love this place. Looks just how I expect an old fachioned bowling place to look. Clean, tidy and great money.
This is an old school bowling alley but they all probably are, eh? located in the basement of the plaza. There's no wheelchair-friendly anything option, ie. elevators, automatic doors, and washrooms.nnParking is plentiful in the plaza. There's a long set of stairs to go down. You will see 2 areas of bowling with a restaurant and enclosed rooms in between.nnWe hosted a birthday party here. The food was of the frozen variety but made everyone happy. We had pizzas and donuts. The service was mostly excellent except for one staff member who clearly did not want to be there.nnThe 5-pin small ball bowling experience was good. The kids had fun and were everything one would expect from an old-school bowling alley. We do appreciate this place as there's not a lot left and unlikely to see any new ones grow.nnCome here for some nostalgia and easy fun.
The place looks appealing. staff needs to be proactive. We had a lane issue and hit the service button as advised but no one showed up to help. I could see the staff looking at us so I waved alerting them that we needed assistance. No one responded.
