Mountain Springs Resort

I came here with a small group of friends and we enjoyed our stay. Self check-in was a breeze and the rooms were as pictured. There was a fully stocked kitchen which was very helpful. We ran out of dish soap and they delivered it to our door within minutes. There is a 24 hour shuttle service to the slopes which was easy and convenient.

The only drawback of these accommodations or that it is not possible to ski to the door. You can ski close to the door and then walk a short distance. Nice ambience with a stream trickling through it. An on-demand shuttle bus is also available from the main Resort. The ability to prepare food was highly appreciated. Although the food available at the resort is reasonable there's an amazing if not understandable lack of Hong Kong Cuisine.

Horrible experience. I arrived the lodge at 4pm, they said they are cleaning right now and tell us to come back here at 5:30. We came back at 6, waiting for half an hour and got check in. Entering the apartment at 7:30, and hoping to get some rest right a way. BUT, the room is never cleaned, and some room lights are not working. I called the front desk, they didn’t even apologize and said they would send the service. But here I am, standing in an unclean room and still waiting for the service. I lived here last year, it was good and it is the reason I came back and even recommended to my friends. However, I regretted everything right now. 😡 And hope someone can give me a proper explanation!

Clean and had everything we needed. Steps from the North lifts which you can go up and the ski down to the main chalet if you don't want to use the shuttle

Loved it! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because we didn't get to experience the full resort. The pool was closed and we couldn't try the hot tub (my wife was pregnant) and we stayed in the most basic room, which didn't provide us a full Mountain Springs resort experience. HOWEVER.. We loved our room! It was clean and well equipped, the only thing we lacked was scissors and a can opener. We stayed for 6 nights and the staff was incredibly helpful! If we needed anything (clean sheets, directions, etc.) we just had to ask and they were on top of it! Also we were quite comfortable for our entire stay, the bed was extremely comfy! The room, although small, met all of our needs. Bed, sofa, kitchen with stove and fridge and dishwasher! And a bathroom with a jacuzzi style tub! We had a great selection of cable channels during the rainy days and the resort is located perfectly in between a beach on Georgian Bay and Blue Mountain Village! Within a 1-2 minute drive of each or 5 minutes by bike! Perfect for us! Mountain Springs Resort is a place my wife and I will certainly return to in the future! Can't wait to try out the pool and hot tub!
