Meaford Motel

We had a fantastic stay. The room was clean and thoughtfully arranged. The location was great, walkable to the water, the library, and so much more. The couple running the place were incredibly sweet and accommodating.nWould definitely recommend.

First, an acknowledgment: the price is correct for this hotel. The price is cheap, and the rooms aren’t much. Our room looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a while. But I’m still going with a solid four stars, and will probably be staying there next time we visit family about once a year in Meaford.nnReason? The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The people make all the difference. I can abide a cheap hotel when the staff are as helpful and pleasant as these folks were. Plus the burgers at the restaurant were pretty good.

We booked the room based on the pictures from the web website. Let me tell you it looks nothing like any of those pictures. I would rather sleep in my car. I’d given her a credit card so there’s no way I could get out of the deal, however I have asked for a refund. We didn’t even stay there. It was so bad there were signs of bedbugs plus everything was dated. The air conditioner was dirty and the room smelled musty. The parking lot itself is scary, so stay anywhere else but there even if that means sleeping in your car….this place is a dump. if I could give it less than one star, I would,,,please beware!

Not so great experience. The air conditioner didnt work great.had to clean the filters myself very dirty .had to ask for more towels, not enough for 2 people I1 coffee cup between 2 pepper and very agitated when we asked for 2 xtra towels had to ask for toilet paper .and after 3 days handed back the keys not even a thank you ! Or have a noce day nothing. I dont recommend here at all .not worth the 150 a nignt with almost no service.

Best customer service around from restaurant to room. Great service! Room was ready and clean upon arrival. Quant and cozy. I will be returning here in future visits to Meaford. Thank you for the great hospitality Meaford Inn
