Hilltop Motel

Only stayed one night but will definitely return next time we visit the area. Room was VERY clean and fresh. With A/C, TV, DVD player, fridge, microwave, wifi, and electric fireplace. The grounds were well kept and beautiful...complete with a really nice pool, barbecue and lots of seating/picnic areas. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Wish all motels were so nice. Reasonable rates.

older but very clean and comfortable. Owner very nice guy. When in Meaford i find the best spot to stay.

I would only recommend this motel for a one night stay if everything in the city is booked. The beds were uncomfortable and the T.V was installed behind the room door. The front desk closes at 10 pm because the owner is the one managing the motel. Also, after I checked in the owner said I need to checkout by 10:30 am the next day. It was a little bit strange as the standard checkout time is usually 11:00 am for most motels and hotels. Although the checkout displayed in the rooms clearly states that check out is at 11:00 am. I found that extremely unprofessional from the owner to be dishonest in an effort of getting another customer.

Had wifi, cable and all I needed for the night. Staff was very friendly. Recommended if in Meaford area.

Stayed one night as we were touring...very pleasant, helpful folks, clean, well stocked rooms. Close to many amenities.
