Mount Saint Joseph Hospital

Came to the emergency after getting attacked & bit by a dog and the staff ranging from receptionist to nurses, doctors and radiologist were all so kind and treated me with great care. I was in and out of there in 2 hours so the processing was very quick. As someone who has had horrible experiences of dealing with medical negligence and practitioners flat out ignoring my concerns, it was such a breath of fresh hear to feel like I was in such good hands. Nothing but love and respect to the doctors and nurses who are putting their hearts into caring for people in hospitals and clinics

MSJ Hospital in heart of Mount Pleasant /Vancouver —part of Providence Health Care, is a wonderful little local hospital offering excellent quality care. Features first class Emergency Department, multiple specialty clinics and an Extended Care wing. Special Note: their parking lot Kingsway & Prince Edward Street is one of my favourite locations to view summer sunsets.

It's 1:30 a.m. and my pain reliever has just worn off... While I wait for the new pain reliever to take effect, I decided to write a review. I am grateful to all of the nursing staff on the fourth floor. Though my body is only capable of taking baby steps toward recovery, the level of dedication made by the staff here is truly a one of its kind . I can't thank enough Carlos, my nurse tonight, and his colleagues enough for being kind and willing to help, and for making the road to recovery a team effort rather than just my own fight. I can't wait to get out there and spread the passion and kindness they've shown me to others.

I have had to experience many of the hospitals in the Lower Mainland for one reason or another over the last 33 years, but feel that Mt. St. Joseph's emergency department deserves a special mention. On 3 separate occasions vertigo, kidney stones, a badly sprained ankle I received excellent care. Their wait times were reasonable and their treatment was timely and caring and professional. The processing for the CAT scan, X-ray and outpatient treatment on each of those three occasions was gratifyingly prompt and though the department was packed with people, the doctors, nurses and orderlies were busily going about their jobs and I received good care. The doctor answered all my questions and I was grateful that the other patients could see that the staff were focussed on their work helping people. The experience reminded me of what health care was like in a small town hospital in the town where I grew up and where both my parents served the community in their capacity as doctors until their mid 80's. Thank you Mt. St. Joseph staff. You are making a difference.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care I received at the Surgical Day Clinic. The nurses, porters, admin, physicians, and residents were incredible. I am truly grateful for their kindness and knowledge. Very lucky.

Had my surgery yesterday & things went smooth & easy. Just wanted to give a shout out to all the staff, nurses especially to Mon Maury who went above & beyond by making sure I was comfortable & gave me a great laugh to remove my anxiety, & my surgeon Dr. Nancy Van Laken & anesthesiologist Dr. Dimitri M for their kindness & total expertise on their fields. This small hospital is a gem in the city!

Today 26th Oct 2022.. I was scheduled to have my kidney stone surgery at 0730. I must say. All the staffs there are beautiful people and making me felt ease.They came by to check on me. See how I am doing.Thank you Dr. Leone., special to you. Thank you.You have a excellent team .Take care .

Needed to get a ct scan. The nurses and staff there are exceptional. They are professional, courteous and patient. They deserve more than 5 stars and I thank them for their dedication to their patients under very trying times.

The best ER in Vancouver in my opinion. All the people working there are super efficient, professional, friendly, and good at listening to what patients are saying. Things are get done super fast, and they strive to provide some kind of solutions to address the patients' issues.

I have never experienced such a top notch Emergency Room and staff. They are caring and efficient. Within 2 hours of arrival I had been assessed by a Doctor, received a ct-scan, and was diagnosed. Thank you Dr. Yoo and staff. Everyone went above and beyond. I hope to give back to this hospital in the future. Wanted to stay away from VGH/St. Paul's and I'm so glad I went here.
