Story

At our Orleans clinic we offer private treatment rooms for all of our physiotherapy services.

We focus on women's health.
Women, and especially new or expectant mothers, face unique heath issues. Our pelvic physiotherapist is a specialist in pelvic health, and will guide you through pre-natal injury prevention, postpartum recovery, or any other pelvic health condition you're facing, with professionalism and compassion.

We believe in discovering and treating the root/source of your problem. Our team is committed to helping you understand your injury and pain. Often where it hurts, is not where the problem originated from. Treating the source reduces the risk of recurring problems and slower recovery.

We believe strongly in a relaxing and friendly clinical environment.
We provide compassionate care and love developing long-term friendships with our clients.

Cathy Allison, Registered Massage Therapist at Motion Works Physiotherapy Orleans, Google Review, The most important issue in massage therapy is, I find, the therapist! My therapist, at the Motion Works at 4289 Innes Rd. in Orleans, Cathy Allison, has 17 years of experience and is a Registered Massage Therapist. Massage therapy being a physical process, it is important that the massage therapist be physically fit. Cathy is slim, agile and strong. Her massage is as hard, intense, and strong as needed. Yet she will reduce its intensity, the strength of the massage, should you see fit to do so. She will move your legs, and your arms herself as need be. Her massages are continuous and do last a full non-stop hour. She will give you advice as to what you should do after the massage. She is attentive to your needs and does remember the issues that were brought up in the previous sessions. She is also a good conversationalist, a bonus! As far as the Motion Works centre is concerned, the facilities are clean. The staffs are cordial. The massage room itself has all the necessary sheets and pillows to accommodate the client and the treatment. The massage therapist will ensure that you are comfortable before starting the treatment. If you come from outside Orleans, the therapy center has its street number 4289 well displayed on top of the add outside the complex. It is on Innes Rd, close to Tenth Line Rd. There is a pay parking lot at the back of the building, and Motion Works will stamp your parking ticket so that you won’t have to pay for the parking. Should your ticket not work on exit, press the attendant button at the exit gate explaining that you come from Motion Works, and they will open the gate for you. . I highly recommend the registered massage therapist Cathy Allison, should you require a very beneficial massage, and I found Motion Works to be a very accommodating centre. G. Chenier

Fantastic,friendly,and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of physio. My physiotherapist, Benjamin David, has helped me so much . He has provided a tailored program,complete with exercises that I can do at home,that will no doubt help speed my healing along.
Noura was amazing, helped me tremendously. Analyzed my problem and was able to help me. Was professional, listened and questioned me to get the full picture. Gave me simple exercises to do. Very satisfied and happy with results.
Everyone I've had the pleasure to meet at this location has been friendly and welcoming. My physiotherapist is Shira Schwartz and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She's great and very knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable talking to her about my issues. I saw improvements at the very beginning after following her recommended exercises. Very pleased with the results and will be returning in the future!
I began seeing Shira when I was post partum and trying to repair my pelvic floor. Shira is not only is so kind, knowledgeable and very easy to talk too but she is incredibly supportive of your healing journey. She meets you where you're at, has 0 judgement and comes up with different strategies if you find something can't work for you at that moment. Very quickly I noticed huge changes in my body and I still feel the positive outcomes of my physio today. It was a bitter sweet day when my sessions ended but I am absolutely going to be seeing Shira for any future needs I have. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Very friendly staff as well every time I went. Thank you for everything!
Could you please inform where on your website you provide information about being banned from services when you have missed some appointments? This would be useful to know ahead of time.
I live in a remote area in Ontario and did not have access to the services of a pelvic floor physiotherapist. I found motion works physiotherapy Orleans online and have worked with Evelyn LaRoche virtually for my last Pregnancy. Evelyn helped me prepare for birth and the outcome was amazing. She also did a follow up postpartum. This service Is exceptional for anyone being pregnant, who will give birth and also for postpartum to prevent any issue with the pelvic floor. Evelyn's service was outstanding, even though every appointment was virtual due to my location.
