Motion Fitness is a fresh approach to wellness with years of practice in the fitness industry. Our mission is to establish Motion Fitness as the premier leader in fitness facilities and programs throughout the community. Motion Fitness is a member friendly facility for all walks of life. Offering a range of lifestyle activities with daily Yoga, Group exercise and cycling classes. Featuring onsite child care, ladies only area, steam rooms, hot yoga studio, group exercise and cycling studios, with a large cardio area. All cardio equipment will be iPod and TV equipped.

This is a fabulous and affordable gym in West Grande Prairie. There is no contract or sign up fee and the gym is staffed 24hours a day. I avoid peak hours and at times felt like I've had the whole gym to myself. They also have a smoothie bar and tanning. I would definitely recommend.
Decent place and prices, but they’re maintenance is horrible. This fan has been broken for 2 years as of January 2016. Also the Ac units went down last year. Took them 4 months to fix it. It was 90 degrees on the thermostat in the upstairs. A third of the seats in the sauna are cracked enough you can’t sit on them. A shower has a hole in the floor since summer 2017. Once you get on top of your maintenance I will delete this comment. You have my number after all since you brought up my profile ILLEGALLY gave out to another client which I sent you a screen shot of them admitting this, yet you’ve done nothing about it. How’s that for PR now? You’re the busiest in the city, use that maintenance fee on maintenance not treating your friends to supper each night.
This gym is great for its price. It used to be 24h gym. One of the showers in the men's washroom is still out of order and the other hand drier is still busted. It's an inconvenience to have to wait for someone to dry their balls just so I can dry my hands. I heard Planet Fitness had 24h time frame. The price went up I don't mind but I need 24h gym. I would rate it higher if they still sell rice and give massages after getting a sun tan.
Moldy feeling gym, over rated, incredibly overpriced. No owner to talk to about pricing. Wanted to charge me over 400$ after I cancelled and THEY lost MY paperwork. Awful customer service, awful gym, awful and shameful "contract". Used to be 24 hours, now it's closed most of the time. Don't waste your time and hard earned money at this shack of a gym. - and let's not mention how awfully warm and humid it is.
A price you really can’t beat for a gym, and tanning included too! Lots of equipment, tailoring to every type of gym person. Only downside is to avoid peak times, it gets VERY busy.
Cancled a membership and then 9 months later got an email stating that I have an outstanding balance of over $300 demanding that I pay it. Then they started charging me again without letting me know and I wasn’t even using their facility. Gym was ok but the scam they are running is not.
I initially made a review when I first started coming to motion about two years ago and everything was still fresh and new... But now after a few years the equipment and the facility are looking in very rough shape. Looks like maintenance is not kept up regularly as some pieces of equipment have been broken down for some time and the cleanliness in there is atrocious! Obviously the price is really good, but I'm not sure it's worth it.
You will LOOSE extra money. Other comments will agree with this. I froze my account because I no longer went to the gym. Not only did I still get charged but picture this, I then said I was cancelling my account and apparently they need to unfreeze my account to charge me for the last month even though I’m not using the gym Make it make sense
A fairly standard gym which will satisfy the needs of a casual and/or moderate gym goer. They have a decent selection of treadmills, free weights and resistance equipment. Operating hours are decent too
