Motel des Cascades

nn – Great Stay with Just One Small DrawbacknnWe had a really enjoyable stay at Motel des Cascades. The room was very clean upon arrival, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights was the campfire in the evening—a really nice touch that added to the relaxing, outdoorsy vibe.nnThe only reason I’m giving 4.5 stars instead of 5 is the lack of housekeeping during the stay. Not having someone come in to tidy up isn’t usually a big deal, but with two days of rain, we ended up tracking in quite a bit of sand and pine needles, which made things a little messy.nnOther than that, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend it!

It’s a standard motel, and if that is what you are looking for, this is one of the best. It is well maintained and quiet. The owners are friendly. It is clear they put in effort to keep the place clean and comfortable, and that effort shows.

Just stayed here May 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner is super friendly and helpful. We were nervous going into a smaller town speaking only English but We were fine. She gave us lots great recommendations for places to visit in the area and where to eat. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and an affordable price, what more could you ask for!? There is even a cute little wooded area to sit out front and a camp fire pit. Baie Saint Paul is a beautiful little town. We traveled up to the Fjords national park one day and it was a gorgeous drive. We will be back!

What a nice local hotel. The owners who live on site greeted me and explained the amenities of the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. There was a nice feeling of community and nice outdoor space with places to sit and relax, they even start a camp fire in the evening next to the river. I’ll be back for sure.

We'd stay there again!nThe room was very clean, I liked the bed sheets, white and silky. Pillows were a little flat.nAnd it has a beautiful little private green area just for the motel. Very comfortable with a dog.
