We were pleasantly surprised with our nice stay at the Motel 6 in Moscow. Very nice updated room! We knew to bring our own shampoo, and we didn't expect breakfast. Comfortable beds and clean room!
Only issue was that it was a warm room in October! We opened our window. Gracious staff and convenient location to U of Idaho!

Was the worst hotel experience of my life. The first night out beds were so soft they felt like hammocks. The second night our room had no heat. The front desk asked if we wanted a heater, or to move rooms. No apology. Instead of bringing us a key, I had to go to the front office and get it. The second room smelled like smoke. I again called the office. They ASKED if we wanted yet another room. I did and was asked to come down to the office and get a key to a third room. I picked up my key and again, no apology. So after packing all our stuff up for the second time we went to our third room. And to no surprise the room had no heat. I called the front desk and was told they were aware of the problem as it was an issue with several rooms, and the manager was working on it. After 30 minutes of no heat I again called the front office and requested a heater so we could get some sleep. I was surprised I wasn't asked to come get it. 15 minutes later a staff brought us a portable heater. Again, no apology.
Needless to say I will NOT be staying at this hotel again. I have also been sharing my story with others. Bad enough the prices were doubled due to it being a football game weekend but to have such terrible service is sad. Also, the room key system did not work very well and not even a small bottle of shampoo in the rooms.

It was what I would call "incredible" after comparing notes with my friends that stayed almost "next door" at another hotel/motel. They had reservations way in advance but could not believe the price and how expensive it was. Then when they were asked how everything was they said "okay", but expected more considering the price they paid. At that they offered to discount their room by $80.00, which it more than the what I paid in total. Discount my room by that amount and they would have owed me money!! Thanks, and hope to return some day, Don

Normally this hotel is fine. We stay every year for Homecoming. First night was fine. Second night, we woke up and the toilet had flooded the floor. Waking up in the middle of the night, not sure what was going on but figured it was the shower or the sink maybe and some water was leaking out. Socks and pants were soaked with water from the toilet that had leaked out. Went in the morning and the entire bathroom was flooded. The front desk didn't have any maintenance people to look into it. We were not packed yet, and was still in pajamas. Front desk people didn't bring us a key so I had to run to the office in pajamas. Running to the extra room around the corner to shower and back was not the best experience.

Good enough if you're looking for "a place to stay". If you're going to be there during an event, i.e. Homecoming, etc, be prepared to pay jacked up rates. I paid about $120/night on a room that a few months earlier was approx. $45. Helpful, friendly desk help but nothing in terms of facility extras.
