Little River Bed and Breakfast

Little River Bed & Breakfast is nestled into such a quaint area. Gary and Patty are so hospitable and the food is delicious!! The room is perfect: clean and cozy. I spent most of my time there in my room and could hear the river out my window as I read my book. Gary and Patty have some resources for what to do in the area. The town is so cute with nice shops. I highly recommend staying here!

New owners, Patty and Gary are great! My wife and I stayed at the Little River B&B this weekend. the inn is nestled along the river which you can hear and see from your room. so peaceful! Little River is very clean and comfortable. a beautiful New England B&B just outside of Peterborough NH, a hidden gem! Breakfast was excellent with interesting and fun conversation. Patty and Gary were super helpful with suggestions from hiking trails to restaurants and antiques hunting. we'll be back!

If you are staying in the southern part of New Hampshire then you MUST STAY HERE!!! Paula and Rob the owners of this bed and breakfast make you feel at home. We have stayed here two years in a row and it keeps getting better. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, quiet and well decorated. The little river that runs behind the B&B is picturesque and adds a nice relaxing touch. In the morning you will be treated to a delicious home cooked breakfast created by Paula. They really go the extra mile to make sure their guests enjoy their stay.

Everything here is what a Bed and Breakfast should be! Attentive owners, but not overly so. They read their guests and know when they are looking for advice on local travel tips without being overly hospitable. Rob and Paula make you feel like part of the family and other guests felt the same as there were two other parties that were repeat guests. The room we stayed in overlooked the beautiful river with sounds of it putting you to sleep. The toiletries were high end and the bathroom door was solid heavy wood. Why is that important? Well, it shows you they were trying to be cheap when they renovated the property. Everything from the mattress to the bathroom was beyond our expectations. When we come back to NH, we will absolutely be coming back. I told my parents they HAD to stay there after hearing their hero stories of other BnB's. Peterborough is a small but friend village and the stay there was just awesome! Don't even think about staying anywhere else. It's THAT good...

Just a DELIGHTFUL place to stay with very GRACIOUS owners! Paula and Rob could not have be nicer making us feel at home and tending to our needs. The place is Pristine in it's decor and cleanliness! The house had 2 lovely and comfortable sitting rooms. Very cozy in the rooms with the gas stove lit reading a book before bed.The beds were very comfortable as well and a yummy breakfast too! Oh almost forgot the homemade chocolate chip cookies left out for a late night snack!

There are very few places I recommend without reservation. This is one of them. Little River Bed & Breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are well appointed, in good taste and are impeccably maintained. The breakfasts are great. The river out back is lovely ,and the innkeepers are very nice. All this in a place that offers a great cost/benefit ratio.

Very nice experience. Clean rooms. Nice people. Nothing extravagant, just really good. Breakfast was simple and good. Lots of hot water, room control of heat. Very close to downtown Peterborough. Will definitely stay here again.

This bed and breakfast is an amazing spot located in the town of Peterborough, NH, just east of Mt. Monadnock. The proprietors are wonderful and the room we stayed in was modern as well as exceptionally clean. The morning breakfast included was delicious, and fresh. We will definitely being staying at this establishment again when we come to hike the mountain in the Fall. -Adam & Mei

The Little River Bed and Breakfast is situated in a beautiful New England house with a cultural history and a personality all by itself. The innkeepers Rob and Paula Fox are truly interested in people and dedicated to ensure their guests the best stay possible. The bedrooms each have a distinct character but all four are provided with all comfort. Paula's three course breakfast, each morning fresh from the oven and served by Rob, is absolutely the best we ever had. Downtown Peterborough with little shops, art galleries, a great bookstore and a famous pub can be reached by a pleasant walk of less than half an hour and for sport enthousiasts there are many possibilities for mountain hikes or skiing, depending on the season. It is for good reasons that my husband and I keep coming back and spend once or twice a year a vacation in this great Bed and Breakfast on the Nubanusit River.

The owners are super nice. The interior feels like it was recently redone so the doors and plumbing all work great! but with old world feel and attention to detail. Their food is yummy and they go out of their way to accommodate allergies and food preferences.
