Motel 6 Kelso - Mt St Helens

Awesome staff! Just the room could have been cleaned a little bit better there were cup rings left by the sink and it just didn't have that clean feeling you get when you first walk in a room. The bed was comfy, free wifi didn't have to have a password and that was nice, the unfortunate thing was the ice machine was out of order. All in all not a horrible experience I have had worse

The young, brunette check in girl was very friendly and accommodating. The first room we were given smelled horribly, almost like animal urine. Let the desk attendant know and she was apologetic and very nice about it, let us switch rooms. Second room had no odors. It was quiet even though right by the interstate. The lady in the morning acted inconvenienced to have to print us a receipt always get your hotel receipts I have learned!.

Was looking to visit Mt St Helens with all the current activity on the mountain. The room has the most basic of amenities. The bed was comfortable and the water hot, but a little lacking in pressure. The coffee is always hot and tasty. The staff are friendly. Mary, Joanna and Emily are all amazing and smiling, even in this heat. Overall, it suited our needs and it was quiet something I didn't expect from a 4th of July weekend. There are plenty of drive thru options and door dash can find the location easily. A+

You get what you pay for, and you dont pay much. Cheap place with mediocre rooms. Not cleaned very well/often. The showers were built for short people I had to kneel down to get my head under the shower-head.nThe water was hot & the pressure good. Some rooms had mini fridges & microwaves; some didnt. The laundromat attached to the motel only accepts quarters & the front desk does not have a good supply to make change for them. Its ok if you are low-budget, but I wouldn't take my wife there.

The ONLY good thing about this place was the ice machine and the helpful front desk attendant. Our room smelled like Swishers tobacco, the floor was un-mopped, and our room might not have been properly sealed because we could hear people chatting in the parking lot outside. There were no amenities such as a table, chairs, fridge, or coffee pot. This was a grimy introduction but I was able to put some elbow grease into the room thanks to the front desk attendant. If women are traveling alone, steer clear of this motel because there were a lot of men-most likely workers-which could be intimidating. If you have a dog you're in luck because the front grassy area has a doggy bag dispenser and enough space for your dog to enjoy. All in all, I would definitely not revisit again; not for vacation nor business nor one-night stay.
