Motel 6 Dillon Mt

I was not expecting much, and indeed, the room is sparse, but it has all of the essentials a traveler needs for a short stay. Everything in the room was in good repair. The entire room was very clean. Internet access remained fast through the evening. I was concerned about their pet friendly policy but there was no sign that an animal has ever been in the room. For long-duration stays in one hotel, I will probably select a more upscale property. But, for stays like this one where I get in late, leave early, and only need a place to sleep and a clean bathroom in the morning to get started for the day, a Motel 6 is now high on my list of places to consider.

I often travel for business; generally, I will stay at hotels approximately 300 days per year. I stay at Motel 6 properties anywhere between three to six months. I have my favorites, but on this trip, I had to travel through Montana and arrived to stay at the Dillon, Montana property. It's not a G6 property, but WOW!, what a gem! First of all, the manager, Dillon McCullough is fantastic! He was working EVERY department at the motel from the date of my arrival; front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and outdoor work. I've never seen such a hard-working property manager who went out of his way to accommodate ALL of his guests. Also, Nick, Brenda, Kat, and Mia. Best of all, the property as a whole, and my room, in particular, is spotless. Everything clean and in its place. Moreover, the members of the housekeeping staff worked very diligently to make certain that ALL of my needs were addressed and my room was cleaned to my satisfaction every day during my stay. Wow!

I had a horrible experience 6 months ago when we stayed. This hotel allows pets and is the least expensive so I booked again. Compared to last stay room was much cleaner, pillows did not smell like armpits, tv worked, weather strip around door kept cold out, heater/air worked. No smokers standing outside my door smoking and drinking. Still no garbages in parking lot or grass areas where dogs do their thing. Reception was great.

Motel 6 in Dillon is a great place to stay when you don't want to pay a lot for all the extra frills. The front desk was especially helpful and double checked with us on the condition of our rooms. I could suggest a few minor things: towel bars & hooks in the bathroom and sink area would be very helpful to hang towels after use, especially if you're staying more than one night. The towels could use a little fabric softener. Otherwise we were satisfied. We had a large group of people with several rooms and were able to use the parking area near the office to assemble, sit, and enjoy some beverages.

The room was super clean and the service was excellent. Very friendly and personable staff to make you feel comfortable. I even brought the dreaded Fluorescent Black Light and was pleasantly surprised to find my room free of icky residue! Haha!
