Moscow Family Dentistry

I recently went here as a first time patient, as I couldn't fit in an appointment in Boise during my scheduled time. The staff is all very polite. However, I feel like the system/insurance check needs to be improved a little for new patients. After talking with my regular dentist, I am aware that dentists can take the effort to complete thorough dental histories. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with me and I ran into an issue where a filling had been done within the two years my insurance allows. I didn't realize it had been filled so recently as keeping track of all one's fillings is difficult to do. Because the business does not better look into new patients' dental histories, I must now pay the filling out of pocket. Had I realized all of this would happen, I would have just skipped the six month check up and waited. I do think they do a good enough job, but I wish they were a little more thorough with new patients.

Ben is a wonderful dentist. He is always caring, funny, and puts me at ease. He guarantees his work, and is replacing a crown for no extra charge. Now that's taking pride in ones work! His staff and mother are great, too. I highly recommend him.

I wish I'd wandered into their office six years ago. Fantastic staff, dentist, and vibe. Dr. Ben really wants to do what's best for the patient instead of the company coffers. I went in the first time to get a second opinion on some major work (after a perfunctory exam elsewhere in town), only to find major work wasn't what was needed. Highly recommended.

Moscow Family Dentistry has always been there when I've needed them the most. Recently, prior to travel, I had a dental emergency and, despite their incredibly full schedule, Dr. Bowen found time to help. Their skills, professionalism, kindness, humor and empathy makes them easily one of the best practices I've ever worked with.

The office is clean and comfortable with coffee and a place for kids to play. The staff is always cheerful and friendly. My hygienists for teeth cleanings have always been thorough while gentle and Dr. Bowen did a fantastic job on my filling. Quick and painless. Love this place!
