Morellina’s

Sandra was the perfect host to the perfect meal. One of the best dining experiences we've had in the city. Morellina's gets 11/10 for the cozy, intimate setting, the beautiful service, and finally, for the best Italian fare we've had in this city. The Risotto had beautiful fresh seafood, and the Agnellotti was rich and dense with flavor but at the same time not too heavy as a meal. The lava cake and cherries was to die for and I must mention the super tasty cocktail as well. We would go back at the drop of a hat. If you want to eat Italian the way it's supposed to be, this is your place.

My wife, my daughter and I went for dinner last night. We've driven by this place dozens of times and wondered what it was? How it was? So we thought we would give it a shot. WOW. What an amazing surprise. What a delightful and delicious surprise. A friendly intimate space. With a host that made me feel like I was a guest at a party in her home. The food was amazing. One of the best, if not THE best Italian meals I have had. From the appetizer right through the dessert, absolutely delicious. I will be comparing every other Italian dish I eat to the food I had last night. I will go again. I am already recommending it to friends. Go. Enjoy. Splurge.

I cannot give Morellina’s enough praise. They were able to work us in for a reservation on short notice, and provided one of the best meals I’ve ever had and some of the best table service, too. The characters working the small restaurant make the delicious cuisine even better. While the prices are high, Morellina’s delivers on value. Of particular note were the mushroom lasagna, cheesy potatoes accompanying the beef main, and the lava cake dessert.

At the risk of letting more people know about this local gem, this is an exquisite restaurant. Their menu is just a rough idea—the chef makes specials based on whatever she’s inspired to do, and it is the most delicious authentic high-end Italian food. An ideal spot for a romantic date on a cold winters eve. Go!

Exceeded my expectations! The food was divine. Sandra, the chef, designed a wonderful 9-course Italian tasting menu for our private party at her place. We were blown away with the food. Everyone got too much to eat and it was heavenly. Sandra made it all very cosy for us, and described each dish. She accommodated special food needs. All of us were beautifully served and taken care of. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!! Thank you Sandra for your hospitality and fine cooking!!

My family and I had a special, intimate post-wedding celebration here for my brother and his wife - wow!! They helped create a custom tasty menu for us, and every single one of the 8 courses was to-die-for. The quality of the food cannot be beat, and the service was top notch. Could not recommend Morellina's more!!

My new favorite Italian restaurant. Every dish was novel, and delicious. We had the Caesar, the lasagna, the veal milanese and finished with a molten chocolate cake. Our server was engaging and passionate about her food. I'll be back for my birthday and maybe sooner.Food: 5/5

If there were more stars, I would give them. I cannot say enough about our experience at Morellinas. We had the pleasure of dinning here for our 10 year anniversary. The ambiance is romantic and cozy. Velvet comfy seats. Candles. The service was top notch. Answered any questions we had, and impeccable recommendations. The food was stellar.
