Story

Mopac Auto Supply Ltd. has been serving the High Performance industry for over 40 years. From our modest store on Kingsway in Vancouver back in 1973, to our 3 Superstore locations we have today, we have always been in the forefront of the performance industry. Our Langley BC location has a full service installation facility including a 1750HP chassis dyno so we can supply, install and give you test results on any performance modifications you make to your vehicle.

In 1994, we opened our wholesale division, MPD (Mopac Performance Distributors), a division of Mopac Auto Supply Ltd. MPD services the wholesale trade nationwide with a broad selection of over 230 of the top names in aftermarket products.

Mopac is very active in the industry as members of PWA (Performance Warehouse Association), and SEMA (Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association). We are also a member of US Performance, a group of 12 independently owned warehouses across North America who combine as a group to offer the best prices and marketing tools for today's Jobber/Retailer.

Our stores are conveniently located in Langley BC, Calgary AB, and Edmonton AB. With over 230 product lines and the largest inventory, Mopac Auto Supply Ltd. is the largest performance parts distributor in Canada.

I’ve been dealing with Mopac for over a decade. I get amazing customer service and pricing that is cheaper than online, and they usually have parts in stock, so I don’t need to wait for parts to be shipped. My purchases have slowed, but they remember me by name, and always greet me even if I am not being helped by that particular sales rep. My last few visits I can give a few notes: -I needed a battery box for my 240sx. I gave a part number and they had it in stock. I came by to pick it up and Bill advised me to try another part # which would suit my needs better smaller, so easier to fit, and cost less which *surprise surprise* they also had in stock. -I needed a catalytic converter and a resonator to quiet my BMW. I sent a part number and Frank was able to get me a better part which was in stock so I didn’t need to wait for a stock order, and it would suit my needs better. The knowledge, advice, and customer service from both Bill and Frank are top notch.
Of course you pay 20% more than Amazon. The trade off is you get the part your looking for the same day and fantastic customer service from the guys and you get to actually measure and see the thing your buying versus trusting online reviews or measurements which we all know can suck sometimes. Mopac has saved me multiple times now when I don’t have time to wait for online sites like jegs . Plus it’s car guy heaven inside the store
Always a great experience there, always great selection, and a great place to meet those with motor oil for blood with a car crazy crowd. Great pricing as well
Paid cash in August for a part order to be shipped within 2-3 months and got nothing. Zero refund on a $4600 part that never shipped. I also left my review on other social media and an american company later replied on their end that the 4-6 weeks was about 5 months due to supply shortages. Either way I couldn't wait for it at the time and ended up losing close to $5k and never got the part I ordered. I'm surprised they're still in business. I've been seeing more 1 star reviews on mopac from more dissatisfied customers. At least I'm not the only one.
It’s hard to find someone in the parts/service industry who is completely genuine and easy to deal with. I called in because my fuel pump had died and I needed to upgrade and needed it asap. Fino took the time to help me out and get me the right product all while just being a genuine nice guy, not just trying to get you off the phone or to take your money. Nothing but the best at mopac.
They carry performance parts - basically the only positive about this place. Everything is overpriced and customer service is abysmal, if anything. Save yourself the headache and order your parts ANYWHERE ELSE. It's worth the wait for shipping if it means not having to go here. I came in with stock brake lines and after they explained to me what I would need for steel lines, they gave me several wrong parts. 16in. lines instead of 18in., and the wrong high-pressure fittings Wasted two weekends on an install. When I came back with a complaint, they said I should have known better and were very unhappy about reluctantly making things right. Once I finally got the correct parts, I would have saved $100 and a week if I had just ordered directly from the supplier Earl's. Hours of operation are ridiculously inconvenient. Anyone interested in performance parts most likely has a full-time job, and closing 30mins earlier than the posted times makes it even harder to get what you need. Maybe answer the phone once in a while? If you have a choice between MOPAC or nothing, pick nothing.
