This beautiful historic home was built in 1849 fully 10 years before Oregon became a state.
Second year in a row going on the Christmas Carol horse ride. It's becoming a favorite tradition and I'm kind of a grinch. Definitely suggest it.
This is a wonderful treasure. Staffed by costumed volunteers, the Monteith House has been lovingly restored. Well worth your time. Check the Facebook page for tour hours and special events.
Fantastic piece of authentic Albany and Oregon history! The tour guide was dressed in pioneer clothes and shared interesting information and stories. This home is nicely restored and furnished, including some original pieces.
The folks that take care of this place are very passionate about it.
Great fun on the caroling sleigh ride

Such original shape and rich with history !!! A must see!
