Best Mexican restaurant in Rochester! So authentic. Amazing tastes and amazing service. Loved everything and the food came out so fast!! We usually go to wash hands before and it was out before the 2nd group came back from the bathroom.Food: 5/5
Oh my was this food delicious. We eat vegan and this place made the perfect adjustments. A big thank you to Maria who waited on us and also happend to be vegan. She took wonderful care of us and we plan to return regularly thanks to her thoughtful work. Highly recommend this authentic spot!
Although the food is good, Service was very slow! We were offered cheese for our chips but weren't told the price for the saucer size dish was $6 that's outrageous! After our entrée arrived we didn't see our server till she brought the bill !! We wanted desert but weren't even asked if we wanted it. We won't be back!!! GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE !!
Our waitess was very nice but the nachos were not the best, cheese was melted in a pool on the bottom of the plate. Margaritas were good, apparently you can spend $85 on a gallon bag of it which was interesting, but they don't offer a pitcher. Still, decent place will likely return.Food: 3/5
The food is good , but yesterday night was not our lucky day. Number one: my husband order a jack Daniel's double shot just with ice, apparently the waitress did not pay attention and she brought the jack Daniel's mixed with coke, my husband told in a polite way that he did not order with coke, her response was, I asked you if you wanted with coke and you said yes, she said it in a mean long face in a few words she was really rude, we felt really uncomfortable, we will continue going there but we will request not to have her as our waitress, for people like that business can loose. Monte Alban is the best Mexican styled food in the Rochester area. There may be better smaller locations that I am unaware of, but it is a great place to eat when you really feel the need for some Mexican styled cuisine. All of their food came well prepared and as always, I enjoyed the tortilla chips with salsa.
Just had dinner there tonight. Food is average quality. I was very disappointed when my check came. I had my usual vodka tonic. I was charged six dollars for the vodka and an extra dollar for the tonic. It's a tacky way to raise the price. I asked if they did that with all drinks and was told yes. I have been a long time customer since they first opened In Irondequoit. I will NOT be back. Los Gallos in greece has better food at much lower prices.
This one of the best Mexican restaurant in Rochester. The food is so delicious, people working there is so friendly. One of the best plate is call Pancho is our favorite plate. So yummy Recommended dishesSteak and Chicken Fajita, Carne Asada, Guacamole Dip, Steak or Chicken Fajitas
Food and drink was excellent! Dinner was served super fast! Love the atmosphere as well, I highly recommend.
They were exceptionally busy when we went so the service lacked a bit. But that is understandable given the circumstances. Food and margaritas are great!Food: 5/5
