Usually come by Montana’s after work once in a while and it doesent disappoint. I previously got the smokestack and the pittmasters combo and that was so good that I came back again for the brisket smash. That brisket tears apart faster than every single BBQ place in Texas and Lloyd combined. Other than being beautiful, our waitress Mary’s service was very nice and very respectful. She made sure we got everything we needed! Hopefully management needs to give her a raise. Overall would highly recommend this place.
Everything started out well. We were seated quickly in a quiet corner. There was a bit of a wait for drinks, but they were busy. Our appetizers came in a reasonable time and were hot and delicious, however we were not given any cutlery and I had to use the spoon from my not even drinkable coffee for my kapow shrimp. The coffee was not removed from the bill even when we informed our server that it was not drinkable it was so bad, and I'm used to strong coffee. Then our main course came and it got worse. My husband had ordered nachos, when they arrived at the table they were cold to the point the cheese was resolidified. I ordered a brisket burger and fries. It was hard to tell if the fries weren't cooked or if they had sat so long after being prepared that they shriveled and went hard. The menu stated shaved brisket on top of an Angus burger, sounds wonderful right? Unfortunately I received two thick fatty chunks of brisket thrown on a burger. To be fair the burger on its own may have been acceptable. Unfortunately the whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths.
Great experience at Montana’s. The staff were very helpful with gluten-free options and made sure everything was safe and clearly explained. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole meal enjoyable. Food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service
Linsay was AMAZING! She made our night so amazing. Gave us TOP 10 SERVICE. Was so patient with our party and had such a great vibe. Treated us like her best friend and I LOVED it! Thank you so so much Linsay! Will definitely come back for her top tier service! 100/10!!
Brooklyn was an amazing server! Very personable, pleasant, and a delight. She suggested my meal and was there to make sure we were looked after. We would go back for the meal again but would also enjoy to have Brooklyn be our server again!! The coldest day of the year and she was liquid sunshine!!
