We visited for the first time last night for a birthday party and were blown away by the pizza they make. I’m not typically a fan of ranch dressing but the buffalo chicken pizza was fantastic and the house made ranch on it was so good! We plan to use Monkey House as our new go to for take out pizza.
I don't get out much these days but even for a cantankerous little housebound gremlin like myself, Monkey House always delivers a great time, awesome show, friendly crowd. Had a blast at Pile last week!
Had a great night playing at Monkey House. The bartenders were very nice. The door person was also nice. The slices were very good. All around great time.
I can see why people like this laidback bar. The pizza is good and the beer is cold. The staff is hit or miss at times like most places I feel.

The sound guy did what he could to make us sound great in the house and considering what a tiny stage they have he made the absolute best of a pretty hairy situation so hats off to that guy. Load-in is pretty easy. No idea how much drinks are worth. Loved performing here and enjoyed hearing the other sets from Waking Windows as we went by.
New pizza slices are good, but the service was... not. After waiting a few minutes to order no big deal - there are other folks around to serve I ordered two drinks and a slice of pizza. the bartender gave me my two drinks and I carried them to my table using all two of my hands. When I returned to the bar seconds later for the pizza, the bartender said 'try not to leave the bar while we're serving you.' Which is to say: expect attitude from the staff unless you have three functioning arms. UPDATE: The bartender read this review in real time and then refused to return my debit card in order to lecture me about a poor Google review.
Good pizza, great food and friendly staff! Always an amazing lineup of shows that you don't often see in the area metal, drag and burlesque, etc
The Monkey House is a really nice small venue in Winooski, VT where you can go see a concert by local bands and artists. You can enjoy playing billiards, chatting with other patrons and enjoy your favorite beverage. They have good choices of beer on tap. They serve panini sandwiches at the bar which are pretty decent. The staff are friendly. Parking can be a nuisance. There are pay at the meter parking lots and spaces, but it is strongly recommend that you carpool or take pubic transportation.
The Monkey House is right on the rotary in downtown Winooski. There are quality regional and local beers on tap. They have some tasty house cocktails that are reasonably inexpensive. The MH has varied live music entertainment. You can sit at sidewalk tables and have a smoke with your beer or cocktail.
