Monk’s Bar & Grill has been known throughout the Midwest as THE place to go for a great burger and friendly service since 1947! We serve fresh, home-style burgers in a clean, family, fun-filled sports atmosphere.

Story

Monk’s Bar & Grill is known throughout the Midwest as the place to go for delicious craft burgers and great service. Our fun, family-friendly dining atmosphere creates a memorable visit for both adults and children. We’re not just a sports bar that loves their Wisconsin Badgers, we’re supporters and fans of local youth sports and schools in our communities.

The Wisconsin State Journal has stated, “The (Monk’s) burgers have taken on somewhat of a legendary status in Sauk County.” We have to agree, our burgers are pretty fantastic because we pride ourselves on quality ingredients.
What makes Monk’s stand out from all the rest? The season never ends here! We offer all the big games and all your favorite teams on any of our flat screen TV’s and provide some great food and drink specials during day and night!

Great fresh meat and tender tasting burger. Had the Monks mushroom and Swiss burger. Really good. My wife and I tried margaritas. Hers was standard and mine strawberry. We tried each other's drinks and both were not quite made right. They came in plastic Monks cups. Tasted off and looked cheap. Atmosphere was really nice though and our server was great overall we enjoyed it.

Went on a Saturday mid afternoon in March after attending the Deer & Turkey expo at the Kalahari. Sports bar type atmosphere. Was told there would be 10-15 min wait, we maybe waited 6 min at most. Can get drinks at the bar while you wait.nnGood: Service was excellent, food came out fast and was very good. Kids menu items get served on a frisbee which they get to keep.nnCon: Portions are not that big for what you pay so I took one star of for that, not because it wasn't good. You are in the tourist trap of the Dells and IMO is over priced by 25-30% but it is what it sometimes.nnOverall: Definitely recommend and would go back
Great atmosphere. Food was good, flavorful the black truffle fries are really good, nicely seasoned and crispy. Server was good polite. Great bar to come eat and drink!
Grabbed takeout from here and all the food was fantastic. Burgers come with many different items to customize it. The fries are beer battered and delicious especially when covered in cheese, bacon, and ranch. The buns on the burgers are soft and fluffy. Reasonably priced for the Dells. Wife had a salad and it was huge! She couldn't even finish it in one sitting. If I didn't order in advance it seems like it was nice and quiet inside. Will definitely eat here again next time we are in the Dells.
