Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar

My family and I have enjoyed coming here for years. Over the last year, we've still enjoyed our food, but noticed the service seemed to be getting slower and slower. Tonight, we sat at our table for 15 minutes, 8 of which we had pushed the"call your server"button. No one even looked at our table after the hostess seated us. No drink offer, nothing. We left and won't be back for some time.

Ask for Will! I go here often cause it's the boyfriend's favorite place to eat and generally something is slightly not right like forgotten sauces, never getting a refill or you wait 15 minutes after eating to get a check. Not with Will though! Drinks refilled, not overly chatty, nice, he's on top condiments and special request. I'm asking for Will here on out. Tip him well for his service, 5 star waiters are worth every penny.

Our waitress was Madie was AMAZING! Service was okay. Coffee was lukewarm the first cup. Informed the waitress and she right away fixed it. Food came with the appetizer so it all should have been hot. Wrong.....1/2 my noodles was ice cold. Not cold but ice could.....Hmmm. Plate went back to kitchen and they reheat it. No I didn't eat the reheated food as it never should have left the kitchen not meeting the food requirements for food temp for a hot dish. Our Awesome waitress did her best but the kitchen staff should know better. No the restaurant was not over busy but steady. Manager took my meal off the receipt and tried to explain how they tried to fix the problem. Visited on 12/31/17 @ around 4:30 PM.

If I could rate this Applebee's to no stars, I would. Worst experience I have ever had at an Applebee's, EVER! Our server was Michelle B. We came in around 6pm and they were not even busy at all. It took forever for our drinks to be refilled. Not to mention, when she brought our food out, it was terrible. There was hardly any cheese on my boyfriend's chicken, looked nothing like the picture. My steak was not medium (like I asked for), was kind of dry. I asked for loaded potatoes, which I did not get. When she brought the food out, it was all slopped together. She didn't come back to our table at all to check on us after dropping our food off. We waited for refills on our drinks for more than 20 minutes. The whole time we were waiting for refills, there was a bunch of waitresses just standing around, doing absolutely nothing. Even a couple waitresses walked by, seeing that we needed refills and just walked away. After we waited almost a half hour for our refills, she brings the check. We were so irritated that we just wanted to leave. I could understand if they were actually busy, but they were not. Our waitress only had 2 tables, which is including our table. Worst experience ever. I would not recommend this Applebee's to anyone. We will drive the distance to go to the one in Madison, much better service!!

This is a very enlightening experience... The service was so great I will NEVER GO BACK. I'm calling corporate Monday, that place should be shut down. The rude manager and rude waitresses are not worth the aggravation, was lied to about being a wait list when there is only 5 tables seated and no one else waiting. Then when we were finally seated, we waited about 5 minutes and no one still came to even take our drink order. We finally got up and left. And their excuse was being short staffed, instead of 8 servers they only had 3. If 3 servers can't handle 5 tables, you might wanna get a different wait staff!
