The Mill Creek Regional Park is a very nice place, to have a little walk. With the family, alone, with a dog or anybody else! In the Park, there is also a nice Waterfall! I had a lot of fun there, cause you're in the nature, not that many people, you can hear the little river and so on. It's good to come down and relaxing.
This is a great, easy and quick hike to a beautiful waterfall. I've went there in both the summer and the winter when the waterfall is completely frozen - its quite amazing to see! I love the whimsical path as well! Plus picnics beside the waterfall make this a perfect little afternoon spot.
My favourite uneven hiking place in Kelowna. The waterfall is a nice one. If you are using the transit, please be sure to check the timings as it is a limited service route. Also, the nearest bus stop is a 20-minute walk away. But all in all, a highly recommended spotPlayground: NoPublic restrooms: NoOff-leash dog area: NoPicnic tables: NoBarbecue grills: No
We went for hiking there yesterday and enjoyed the forest trail. The only thing is the parking is a bit confusing. You need to park there and walk down a few steps to find the trail head. It is a short walk but the experience is wonderful.
Very nice trails to follow, so fun. Such a beautiful little waterfall. Wish I lived close by so I can go everyday with my dogs.
This hike was so fun. The weather was perfect, and at least to the first cataract, the path was wide and easy. From the first falls up to the reservoir it's a progressively more strenuous scramble, but it's worth it. Dogs on leashes, places to picnic, and lovely cool water on a hot day. What could be better? Easily accessed off Old Vernon road, there's quite a bit of parking.
Great hiking trail. The path between the second and third waterfalls has degraded at a specific point. There is a rope strung between two trees that helps but do take special care.
Great place to go. The falls goes up in layers imagine a staircase, and gets reasonably harder each time sometimes there’s more than one path. Wether you have kids or other mobility issues, sticking to the lower parts is equally as beautiful as the rest. There’s an outhouse at the start and there’s also no public noises during any point of the hike. I’d estimate that the average walk would take anywhere from 20-40 minutes, but closer to an hour/hour+ if you’re more adventurous. Finally, I went here on 05/30/21 early evening and google said that it was very busy, but that wasn’t the case. I only passed a few groups and each one was extremely friendly! I have attached some pictures, do not look if you want to go in with a “blind eye”.
If you would like a short little hike with the kids great one to start! Stroller friendly
Beautiful short easy hike, probability of wheelchair through here is pretty high. You will be treated to a very pretty waterfall within 15 minutes or less and cute bridges to cross along the way,may access points to hang out along the creek. Child, senior, pet friendly trail. Don't forget bring your drinks and snacks, maybe a picnic there, swimming in summer and awesome for photography.A brand new bathroom installed on trail about 100 meters in,unheated but nice to have one there.
