LOVE LOVE LOVE I could not believe the service!!!! Top notch! And we will be back many many times! Just floored at the hospitality and the food and drinks were amazing as well!!!
Always enjoy this place and the Da Kine bowl! But it's got a bit of bite so have a Big Wave to cool the fire.
Delicious Poké Bowls! Really lovely interior and very friendly staff.
The food was authentic and delicious and very reasonably priced! Our kids enjoyed their food and were presented with a lei at the end of their meal which we thought was such a nice gesture. Service was great and fast and we all loved the atmosphere as well. We will be returning!
Tried this restaurant today for the first time, taking some family, including our elderly mother, there for lunch. It is handicapped-accessible and during our visit, at least, there was no blaring music playing, which allowed us to be able to visit and actually have a conversation with each other. It is also very spacious, with lots of seating and plenty of room between the tables, which is great for those who are mobility-challenged. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. Our food came in very generous portions, fresh and hot, and was served quickly. I ordered the Mahi Mahi which was delicious and cooked just right, as was the jasmine rice. This is one of the only places I have ever eaten that actually cooked the rice properly-firm and not soggy. I was impressed. Prices were also very reasonable. My only "complaint" such as it may be, is that I felt the food could have used slightly more salt and a bit more in the way of seasoning such as garlic. Just my personal opinion: others could very well find it just fine the way it is. I will go there again and highly recommend it to others.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and nice menu. Unfortunately the meal itself was lacking. Burger was burnt and unflavoured and rice was poor as well. Upgrade in the kitchen would help make this place a 4 or 5 star based off the rest. May go back to try another menu item, but only if I happen to be close by.
My son and I had a poor meal experience at Mokus when it first opened; but after a very long time, I thought I'd give it another try on Saturday evening, with my husband and two friends. Our food took a long time to arrive and my $21 grilled fish entree wasn't fully cooked fish was raw in the middle and I returned it. I waited patiently for a small piece of fish to be grilled on what I assumed was an already hot restaurant grill. The others at my table finished their meal. We waited a bit longer, and mine still hadn't arrived. I cancelled my meal and we left. First time in my life I have ever left a restaurant without having eaten the meal I ordered. The Manager's excuse was that "The kitchen was slammed by a table of 8 that arrived before you". Apparently they cannot cook for more than 8 people at once on a Saturday evening. This restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food, and the service is poor. Recommend saving your time and money and going elsewhere for dining.
We came on vacation from Connecticut in the U.S and we are staying in Niagara Falls. We decided to take a drive and came down to this great restaurant. The food and drinks are amazing and the staff is wonderful. They are so welcoming and so kind hearted. If you have a car this is definitely a place you need to stop and have lunch or dinner. It has a great Hawaiian feel to it.
We went here for lunch. We like to try new places. Prices are very reasonable. The food, we had Haddock, was a good portion. One was ordered with rice and the other with fries. The rice was perfect not sticky and the fries were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Service here is always top notch, and the food is always hot and fresh, everything on menu i have had is always great! And the paint parties, and music trivia is entertaining and good times! If you haven't checked this place out, do so! Wont be disappointed!
