They did a re-plumbing job on my whole entire house in St. Paul and it went really well. 15 K whole house project with water heater installation & other stuff, their bid was lower than anyone else’s. They had to work wonders to get my hundred-year-old home up to modern code. But they did it and I am absolutely amazed at how it turned out! I will hire them again and I highly recommend them to family and friends!

3 different people came to my house 3 different times to provide me with an estimate and still couldn't give me a simple estimate for appliance install and gas line installation. Every time the person comes, they sound extremely professional but didn't know the things and talk about getting another half a dozen people to do the same work. Scott came to the house and told us that we cannot install a 27" double oven whereas there was already a double oven with the same measurements but older version. Another guy comes and I was told that he is coming for installation but he took almost 30 minutes to do the same measurements which Scott did and never managed to give an estimate. I took day off from my work to accommodate their schedule and they had no respect for it. The first time when I scheduled for a Thursday and I called them to follow-up and I was told they don't have any resources.

We purchased an over the stove microwave oven from Best Buy and Mn Plumbing and Appliance came out to install it. First of all, Nate called and said they would be there at 9:00AM. He and a co-worker arrived at 9:40 and began to set up for the install. First of all, they fiddled around with the microwave for about 30 mins. trying to get the blower wheel for the fan back into the microwave. Finally they succeeded and proceeded to install the mounting bracket to the wall. They had broken BOTH of the butterfly bolts needed to mount the bracket to the wall and said that they couldn't complete the installation as a result. I said that I would be happy to go to the hardware store to get new ones and they told me that they could not wait as they could not delay the next customer by more than 15 minutes. They told me to call Best Buy to replace this part as it was defective! NOW, I would think that a plumbing and appliance installer would carry this 50 cent piece of hardware in their truck BUT they said it was Best Buy's problem... not theirs! This outfit is a sad excuse for an appliance installer and I think that it would serve Best Buy well to take them off of their list of approved installers.

Generally very good --- almost excellent. He was helpful, gave tips in using the machines and in how best to make a system on which the washer and dryer could sit perfectly. He could have detangled the washer hoses a bit better, though we will redo --- not a big deal. Minneapolis code required that he replace the vent to bring it up to code. The code requires a flap on the outside, which we had, but it wasn't working properly (doesn't close very well). However, although the vent was there, it probably should have been replaced. It was not, but it may have to be replaced.

Bought a dishwasher at Best Buy w an additional install package for $169. Upon arrival to install, the two tech stated I needed a $125 shut off value to replace the old one, original to the house. This $125 would be in addition to the $169 prepaid charge. I question the $125 for a $8 part, but conceded since they were there and I had taken the day off for this. After a discussion between the two techs they stated they didn't have a shut off value between the two of them. I stated I'd go buy the part and they could install, they refused and stated they'd rescheduled. 2 1/2 days go by w no reschedule or call. I went to Best Buy to cancel my order and filed a complaint w this company. I went down the street to Home Depot, purchased the same dishwasher for the same price w a $79 install package. Had it installed today w no worries, no additional charges, saved a bit of money. I like Best Buy and intend to continue to shop, but question their installation partner. Hope this helps others, I'm glad the techs weren't prepared and I had time to do a bit of research.
