This restaurant is really, really good. The tapas portions are far more generous than any other tapas restaurant I have ever been to, and it is not crazy expensive. The food is incredible! I was really surprised by how much i loved the food, even the dishes that were ordered half-heatedly. I didn't have super high expectations from the beginning but I will absolutely recommend Mix to anyone going out to dinner in Ithaca. The owners and chef are a husband and wife duo and they are very friendly. The staff were very accommodating. Great restaurant all around. Go to Mix!

This place is overrated. The service really sucks. We left the restaurant after sitting for 30 minutes and not getting acknowledged by numerous waiters who were chit chatting or cleaning other tables. It was 7:30pm on a Saturday and the place was mostly empty. What a disappointment! I wonder if they hired a company to pump up their internet ratings...

One of the best restaurants in Ithaca. Generous servings, food that was prepared with care and most things were around the $11 range. Don't let the exterior fool you.

Decadence! A finely tuned "mix" of the finest flavors of unexpected pairings! A "foodies paradise" in the heart of Ithaca. Try the Cajun Sugar Rubbed Flat Iron Steak drizzled with a Creole demi glaze served over crispy battered garlic cheese grits and topped with crispy carrots. It was sheer culinary delight! Don't let the name "Devils on Horseback" detour you from ordering their spectacular dish of cheese stuffed dates wrapped in crispy bacon. They were truly heavenly. The dual owners are husband and wife. (Interestingly, instead of referring to the eclectic mix of foods, spices and herbs, the restaurant is the namesake of the wife). She was so kind and informative when she stopped by our table. Our waitstaff and bartender provided excellent service too. Best tapas I've ever experienced! Grab some fellow food lovers, head to Mix Kitchen and Bar #mixithaca and enjoy a social night of acting like food network judges for this extraordinary tapas restaurant.

Amazing place. I came here with some friends to celebrate our formal. Our server was very attentive and she even took a picture for us! The food is phenomenal; it was very aesthetically pleasing and very delicious. The chef even came to our table to make sure everything was to our liking! The atmosphere is relaxing and the restrooms are very clean. If you want a place that cares about your experience and has good food, then I strongly recommend that you come here.
