I was just trying to buy a used sprayer that I really needed as it had the plumbing attachments I wanted, ending years of awkwardly washing my dog. I brought it to the till and the lady put it back into the reprice bin without getting it priced for me so I could have it that day, and told me to come back another day to buy it. I mean, how many stores operate like this? Value Village will price something with a missing tag to make the sale. The lady was also very rude, no smile, no thank you, and was not very helpful to my partner and I as we spent $70. To me, that's just lazy and I felt discriminated against as I came in after work and was a little dirty. I understand its mainly volunteers but still, I felt shafted.
I went in looking specifically for yarn and knitting needles just to learn how. There was a nice lady I didn't catch her name who helped me choose out beginner needles and yarn, and even recommended what to look for once I grasp the basics. It really helped having someone staffed in that section with relevant knowledge. If she's reading this, thank you so much. My tension needs practice but I have the general technique down.nnI browsed around and also picked up a couple books and tapes. I was impressed that everything I saw seemed to still be in great condition. I didn't find anything that looked like it realistically should have been thrown out. They also have fitting rooms so I can actually try things on, unlike Value Village where I have to come back a second time and go through the hassle of exchanging them and still gamble on if those new clothes fit too.
great store, great selection of products for every taste and at affordable prices. The store is clean and conveniently located. The employees are kind and courteous, happy to help and advise. The assortment is updated frequently, the goods are in the proper form.
I truly appreciate the low prices at The Mission Thrift store! I’ve checked around, their prices are the best. The store manager is caring and attentive. I love that Bibles are available for free and worship music is played as you shop!! I always find something valuable when I shop there and I’ve always enjoyed volunteering at The Mission Thrift store!
Everyone is so friendly and kind. Good prices especially with sales. Good quality items. Beautiful interior. Easy to find my way around. Everything is in good shape not rough. I love that they have change rooms to try on clothes before you buy them. Great selection of items. Overall an amazing store to shop at.
