Missinaibi Provincial Park

We had a three days experience of this amazing provincial park, you can enjoy the camping and paddling in this lovely peaceful place.

Absolutely gorgeous park! Was worth the unpaved drive. Nobody was on the beach at all when I went, so I literally spent my day on a private beach watching the baby fish in the shallows and swimming. Found a black bear on my drive back in the evening as well! Be aware, the road there is completely unpaved and has some sharp dips and narrow paths in some parts, definitely need an off road vehicle. Stay alert too because several times, drivers came barreling around tight corners. Also just follow the road signs for the park, don't follow Google Maps! Google told me to turn into a bush road.

I am not one for camping in an actual camp ground, but this park is awesome. My family usually comes up for a week in June, and if we can again in September. The fishing is great and the folks that work at the campground are awesome and very helpful. Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to come come up this spring do to state of everything, so we hoping for September.

There's a movie about a couple that had to fight off a black bear, the bear killed him and the girl survived. It was on one of the trails that was blocked off back then.
