The food here is incredible! Generous portions and great service! I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. They layered the pulled pork and coleslaw in one sandwich! So good! The fries look fresh cut and are tasty, especially paired with the house ranch. I complimented the ranch because it's not just standard or buttermilk, It's a complex flavor for the item, the lady who served us said it’s the chef's recipe. I know this is not just a Hidden Valley flavoring packet like most places. The pricing is reasonable for the food quality and portion size. The pulled pork dish was $14 I think. Mirkwood is a hidden gem! Oh and the decor, Lord of the Rings and fantasy themed. So fun! I visited with my friend and her family on 4/23
They really stepped up their everything here. The food, the staff, the interior and audio remodel is amazing! Concerts and events here are now quality audio and can hear everything with clarity! The food and staff have stepped up as well. Everyone seems happy to be here and the food menu is great and quality food! Looking forward to coming back!
Went out for a few drinks to send a friend off out of state and ended up having an amazing night of karaoke and made some new friends. Wonderful atmosphere and the lil bartender was awesome. Been here a few times a year or two ago, but had the best time, this time. Drinks were good, service was on point. Definitely recommend!
The vibe is great! They are fantasy/Lord of the Rings themed and super fun. They have tons of events, very laid back and casual, and the staff is super friendly. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday, and it did take a while to get our food, but they had just opened and were probably getting everything started for the day. The food was pretty good, not fabulous. Parking is pretty rough near the place, but there is lots of parking if you can walk a block or so. Steep stone stairs to the entrance it used to be a church. They even have an adjoining tattoo place and a little herbal/metaphysical shop in the back. We are big LOTR fans, and we enjoyed it.
Fantastic food! When we walked in and saw a rock venue, we were worried the ratings might have been high for the shows, not food. We were wonderfully wrong! The cocktails were tasty and the Mac n cheese was delicious! We will certainly be back.
Great venu. I have to remove one star because I went to a drag show, and they only had 1 person doing the bar, taking table orders, running food, making drinks, poor lady was stressed out but she kept smiling and she was great once she got to you. I suggest whenever shows are happening, hire more help. The individuals running the drag show have your person at the door carry or able to provide ones 1's so people can tip you more. I was not able to get more than $5.00 in ones, and your performers and DJ were great! I wanted to tip more but couldn't.
Rating 5/5 because I was pleasantly surprised. We stopped through on our way back from Darrington. I was surprised to see reasonable vegetarian and vegan options on the menu and many salads to choose from. The nachos looked great and my burger and salad was delicious. Great little spot for sure, I’d love to come back for a concert!
This place was absolutely amazing. As a musician that played here with my band The Sooner The Better, the experience was surreal. The venue is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and the food is INCREDIBLE. The sound guy was also very sweet and did a great job with our band. Hope to play here again very soon!!!
Where to begin? When we first walked in the piped in music was soooo loud we had to shout at each other. I expect live music to be loud but not the house music. So annoying. Guess they think that’s cool. First we ordered the street tacos and the bartender asked how many orders. I asked how many tacos there were and she said three so I said one order. When only one taco came the gal that brought it to us said no only one per order. When I looked at the menu I saw the street tacos are just one but fish tacos come three to an order. I guess bartender doesn’t know the menu. So then we ordered the nachos and hands down the worst I have ever had. It looked like a 5 year old had made them. They dumped the chips on a plate sprinkled some cheese a few cubes of dried out chicken and then dumped what looked like a huge mound of jar salsa and huge mound of sour cream. That’s it! Not even the black beans that was mentioned on the menu. When she took our order she asked what kind of meat and rattled off pork, beef or chicken. I didn’t realize until I saw the bill that chicken is $3 more. Who upcharges for chicken for gods sake??? So instead of $13 it was $16 for that unappetizing mess we only took a couple of bites of. Then we asked for our bill and I give her my card and she only gives me the merchant copy so I wait and wait and finally ask her if I was getting my copy and she says “oh you want a copy?” I was stunned. What kind of an establishment are you all running???
