Mirick's Landing Country Store

Should be a -5 rating My girlfriend and I were in almost all the stores in Merrickville this weekend but at this store the lady at the counter was unpleasant with my girlfriend upon entry and upon exit. Seemed very racist and has hurt my girlfriend(Latino/Italian but born and raised in Canada) and myself deeply. Although I am not 100% sure why my girlfriend was treated any differently then me it would lead one to assume it was because her skin colour is not white. Just because she has tanned skin doesn't mean that she should be treated any different then anyone else. This is 2017 after all. The lady at the counter was very nice and welcoming with everyone that came into the store except for my girlfriend. I wish I would have said something when I was there and figure out why she was treating the women that I love like this, but I don't like making a seen. I know the next time something like this happens I will not even hesitate. Something needs to change.
