I love shopping at Minter for my garden. They have such a great collection of quality plants and supplies for my garden, and when I cross paths with Brian, he always gives the best advice. Staff as super kind and helpful. My husband’s highlight of visiting is always spending time with Lacey, the store cat. They are also a great supporter of the local community, so it feels good to shop here.
Most of the plant material in my last home and my current home comes from Minter Gardens. It's always such a pleasure to walk into this store and Brian even came out to my home last Fall to consult with me on a drainage issue and I am so grateful for his guidance. Saved me $$$$ So happy this gorgeous nursery is in Chilliwack I go there almost weekly during the season.
Love shopping here for plants, my favourite place to go walk around and look at the beautiful flowers! If you’re visit from out of town or looking for something to do on a Sunday morning, highly recommend going if you haven’t !
My wife and I were excited to find a nursery in our new location but unfortunately every single house plant we have purchased has had mealy bugs. We've bought house plants from other nurseries, and department stores and have never had an issue. We originally thought it was a one off and kept buying new plants but without fail every plant has had a mealy bug outbreak and wound up in the garbage. We have thrown away probably about $300~$400 worth of house plants over the last year that we lived here. unfortunately some older ones too that we had for a while and it spread to due to proximity. We will definitely be traveling to our old nurseries or buying from a department store in the future.nnEdited to add that the outbreak has been in seven separate locations in our house, with plants far away from each other in those locations we started to do this after the first one so they haven't spread from one to the other will in our house.
This is a very beautiful store to walk around and look at. The business is also pet-friendly when I saw cats and dogs present there. I am not a gardener, so there was nothing I really needed from there. However, I know a lot of other people that would like to visit there.
