My dd had a severe chest congestion foe , and I reached Milton District hospital around 10.30pm. The hospital wasn't crowded, and with just 3 ppl before me, I expected to be seen very soon, but somehow, it took over 3 hrs for me to see a doctor.nI must say the hospital is quite modern and very clean. Everyone we spoke with was nice and helpful. My experience was pretty good despite having spent 4 hours at the hospital.nOne thing I was shocked about was the parking fees. I had to pay 20 dollars. Firstly, there wasn't any other parking option available, and I definitely didn't expect such a high parking premium.
Had a really excellent experience at Milton District Hospital when I developed appendicitis recently. The whole emergency team was wonderful and worked quickly to get me the care I needed. Thank you so much to the wonderful team of professionals—and especially Dr. Carter—in General Surgery, as well as my nurse, Kumkum, for your attentiveness and attention to detail. I was very comfortable the entire time.
Milton District Hospital is surely one of the best and highly recommended hospital specially for the maternity. The staff is very professional, Cooperative and very friendly. They are always there for any sort of help. They do what is best for you. The hospital is super clean and organised. The whole delivery experience was totally worth it and thanks to the doctors and nurses for making it all easy in every way.
Rough, rude and untrained nurse in recovery ward. Opened my eyes in severe pain after breast cancer surgery. After calling for help one nurse showed up, made a rude face and said “ I cant hear you” I again gathered all my energy and said “ it’s hurting a lot I need pain killer” she kept saying” I can’t hear you” each time and then stepped out. I cried. I starting knocking the bed crib metal with my pulse tracker to make a sound. After several efforts she came in with a weird an and rude attitude and said can’t give you painkiller because your oxygen went really low during surgery.” I got more stressed . Told her to inform or call someone my family waiting in the waiting room. She said “ called your husband 20 mins ago he’s not here” . She again tied to piss me off with that attitude, someone with cancer and right after surgery! My husband came in after 5 mins and I cried in all that pain. He said he just got the call and rushed in!!! My husband asked her if she could give me Tylenol to which she said “ doctor didn’t advise any” and later asked my husband to get it from the pharmacy downstairs!! Which he did. When it was time to go there was no nurse to to help me off the bed or get dressed. I had to call my husband and sister to help me with all that. Thank god it was a day surgery and I don’t have to deal with someone like that again. My outstanding surgeons do not need this kind of staff and should perform surgeries somewhere else like Oakville hospital where one feels like going again.
Visited this hospital after having an accident overseas. Wait times were high but the level of care and attention to detail once I was seen by the medical team was excellent. While abroad I received inadequate medical attention but the Milton staff corrected my diagnosis’ and got me on the right healing path forward. Only complaint would be the wait times. Arrived at the hospital at 10:30 pm and left at 4:30 am
