A small old-fashioned saloon style diner next to the Mackinac Island Carriage Tours. The meatloaf is Southern style and my wife didn't like it as it was just meat and gravy. The white fish was good but the tomato seemed a little under cooked. I realize that it's a small kitchen for the menu it offers, some places would offer less. I like white fish so much that I would like to go to all the restaurants on the island and compare the taste and quality of the dishes. Maybe next visit.
We went twice on our recent trip to the island. Whitefish and chips were great at lunch! The only thing I'd change is CLEAN THE MUD VEIN OUT OF THE FILET!! We also visited for dinner. My husband and Neptune's Pasta and I had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo. For dessert, chocolate lava cake. Our dinners were wonderful. Service was also excellent. The last time we were here was at least 8 years ago! We had such a great experience then that we were worried about going again...but we are so glad we did. Thank you for a delicious experience.
We had a little bit of a wait for dinner, not unexpected. We chose Millie’s because there was a sandwich that my daughter wanted on the menu. We didn’t realize that lunch menu was completely different than dinner menu and she couldn’t get the sandwich at that time of the day. Disappointed but not a deal breaker. Especially since we had already waited a half hour for a table and there would be a wait at any restaurant. She got the chicken Alfredo. Chicken was dry but the pasta was good. I got the olive burger, which was decent. They put bacon on it for their twist and the bacon was the toughest thick cut bacon I’ve ever had.-it was more like jerky. We also got the bbq wings as an appetizer. Overall, the food was ok, but not worth the price. The establishment is very busy, but since there’s limited restaurants and a zillion people here this time of year, they manage it very well. Nothing really remarkable about Millie’s
Food and drinks were amazingly delicious! We each had a bloody Mary, the French onion soup and we shared a turkey club sandwich! Yum!! Service was great! We sat at the bar.
The food was absolutely fabulous and so was the service. The fish tacos were full of fish and flavor underneath so delicious. The fried green beans were the best I've ever had they were very fresh and delicious.
My husband and I enjoyed our lunch ! Such amazing food, speedy service, and a great experience !
Great reviews led me here and I was not disappointed. The perch was amazing, great flavors and the pilaf was much better than I expected. My party got the white fish basket which was perfectly cooked and the straits white fish salad which was slightly overcooked but flavors impressed. It was my first time on the island and I was speculative of the food but Millie's exceeded expectations. Delicious food, must try the truffle fries, and great beer selection on tap. Will return!
Outstanding service and food. Wow. I was impressed. Burgers, fries, fish, steak, Italian? Wow. My wife and kids love the Chicken Alfredo. I had the Olive Burger and it was good. One of my kids had the Meatloaf! Outstanding! Solid food. No issues. The only negative, it's pretty small and gets really crowded. Highly Recommended!! Try it!
A little pricy, but some very good fish! Asked the waitress about gluten free options and she seemed uncertain but was helpful. The truffle fries were sooo good but they filled us up before our main dish lol.
Best food I had on the island! The truffle fries, the burger, the meatloaf and potatoes, ALL OF IT, AMAZING!
