Miller Woods, a 130 acre property, was bequeathed to Yamhill Soil and Water Conservation District by Frieda Miller in 2004. There are 94 forested acres and 36 acres in pasture and hay land. Occupying the timbered portion of the property are varying ages of diverse timber stand. On other parts of the acreage you will find old growth trees, ponds and streams, hiking trails, and a diversity of native plants.
Miller Woods provides a place to experience, study, and enjoy the dynamic wonders of nature. We strive to instill knowledge, skills and awareness through education programs and demonstrations. In turn, this will inspire visitors and members of our community to become more responsible and caring stewards of our natural resources.
