The rooms are spotless, well-kept, and stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Everything felt clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared.nnThe real standout, though, is the on-site restaurant — a true hidden gem! We had the tomahawk steak with a variety of fresh vegetables and creamy mashed potatoes — absolutely delicious. The quality of the food and service exceeded our expectations.nnSpecial shout-out to Shannon, the talented cook, and to Alicia, our friendly and attentive breakfast server who made the morning feel extra welcoming. I wish I had caught the name of our dinner server as well — she was fantastic and made the evening feel special with her outstanding service.nnAnd whatever you do, don’t skip dessert! Paddy’s signature deep-fried butter tart topped with ice cream is next-level — rich, indulgent, and unforgettable.nnHighly recommend both the accommodations and the dining. Can’t wait to return!
Amazing experience. We had the pleasure of staying the night and having dinner at this establishment. When we arrived first impressions say it all. It happened to be Father's Day and we were watching the steady flow of customers pile in the restaurant. Also noticing the owner Patrick interacting with customers as they were seated for dinner. The staff were working very hard and seemed to have it under control. Can't say enough for the food, generous portions ,lots to choose from and quite delicious .Hubby is a past restaurant manager and couldn't help watching how efficient it all ran. Sometimes you eat and leave, this restaurant it was all about the experience. We stayed the night ,loved our room ,had a great view ,beds comfortable. We also had our breakfast served by Alicia who made sure we were leaving with a full tummy. She ended our mini vacation with a come back response. Also check out the favourable teas in the gift shop, just had to buy 2 bags.
We visited The Mill for the first time tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary and WOW! What a wonderful experience it was. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was incredible and our server Victoria was top notch. She was super kind and friendly and made our experience that much more enjoyable and make us want to come back again. Thanks for everything Victoria & team. We look forward to next time.
While I typically enjoy dining at The Mill, my experience with their brunch buffet was unfortunately disappointing. The selection felt quite limited, and it was clear that much of the food wasn't being kept fresh or hot. I had really been anticipating their beef, so it was a letdown to discover they were serving only ham with pineapple – a dish that was overly sweet and just didn't hit the mark. Even the broasted chicken was dry and bland. The only redeeming part of the meal was the cookies, which were wonderfully fresh and tasty
We went there for Sunday brunch and it was amazing! The food was hot and fresh, and there were plenty of delicious options. The cost was less than usual because of the construction in front of the mill, but we would have been more than happy to have paid full price. We'll be back.
