Mill Tales Inn

This is a place you just HAVE to visit to really appreciate the beautiful views, the rustic charm, the amazing food, and the friendly and efficient service. Perfect place for so many different events. We had a girl's night out and the dinner was marvelous. We'll be back, without a doubt!

I had asked 3 friends to recommend a place to eat in Tillsonburg because we were visiting the area to celebrate my friends 65th birthday. They all recommended the Mill and I am so glad that they did. I went with the birthday girl and one other friend and we really enjoyed our lunch. The 3 of us all had the fish and chip special and it was delicious. As a farmer myself, I was very impressed that they use very local ingredients which I really appreciated, Baden coffee, meat from Norpac, etc. Our server Victoria was very friendly and attentive and at the right times. We enjoyed the turtle cheesecake for dessert. I can't wait to go back with my husband sometime. The view was beautiful. Tillsonburg you have a gem in this restaurant.

First time here I had the fish and chips which where great very generous ortions. My wife had the pickeral which she enjoyed but a little bland a little more seasoning would have helped.nKrystle our server was wonderful and knowledge about the menu items. Our table overlooking the creek was and added bonus.nWill definitely be back.

My wife booked us a weekend stay in the king suite with jacuzzi and the room was very nice and cozy. Everything was nice a clean. We were on the 1st floor and had to deal with the restaurant making noise until 12:15am and then another rooms TV so loud i couldn't even think until 2:30am. My wife texted the host and she was out of town and the owner was also away and no one was able to help us. We demanded our money back but that also made our stay short as we left the next morning. Yes they refunded us BUT ruined our plans for the weekend. If you plan on having a quiet night of sleep, GOOD LUCK to you.

The Mill is one of the places we probably go 3 or 4 times a year, usually for a birthday or special occasion. Last night we were celebrating the soon to be arrival of our first grandchild with our daughter and future son in law. Throughout my daughter’s pregnancy, she has had allergic reactions to dairy and beef products. Our lovely server Chantelle was made aware of her situation and as expected, my daughter’s meal was made to exactly what was requested. The Mill has always been a great place to enjoy our meals, always on a timely fashion without feeling rushed. Highly recommend this place. Again, we want to thank Chantelle for the great service and sense of humour, hoping she gets to Punta Cana soon.
