This is a small restaurant with about 4 tables. It wasn't too busy inside. They were able to put two tables together to accommodate our group of 5 adults and 4 kids. More customers were coming in for pick up. My favorite dish was the Palak Paneer. The flavor was so good! The honey garlic cauliflower was something different which was also very good. I preferred the Butter Chicken rather than the Butterica. The Butter Chicken had a lot more flavor and spice. My main dish was the Goat Curry. The goat was nice and tender but I found the sauce a little salty. The garlic naan was very fresh tasting and had good flavor. Overall, many of the dishes were good and the server was friendly and helpful with describing dishes. I would definitely come back to try more. Vegetarian options: Many
New restaurant in my neighborhood, ordered take out on Holiday Monday. They were still doing a tiny bit of construction, but that didn’t hamper their kitchen at all. Food was outstanding. The chicken vindaloo was just the right amount of spicy. Would recommend and will be back!!
Nice little cozy place. They seem to really care about the food, food preparation was excellent. What I liked is that it was unique indian food. Honey Garlic Cauliflower was great almost indo-sino fusion. Butterica was delicious and in-between butter sauce and a Korma. Paneer Purjee was creamy and satisfying. My only complaint was the medium. heat egg plant Bhartha was too hot even for a spice lover like me. Portions were huge. Four dishes was enough food for six people. Parking: lots of parking
Wow! Just wow! Let me be as Frank as I can. Everyone should drop what they're doing and go to this place if you like Indian cuisine. My tastebuds are used to Indian food and I was going to be critical of the hype and the quality. I tried the trademark Butterica because it sounded amazing. The owners were kind enough to provide a sample of a regular Butter Chicken for comparison. We also tried their naan and the shahi paneer. The Butterica is worthy of being trademarked, boy oh boy. It is the best version of a butter chicken I've ever had. I've had a lot of butter chicken. The flavors are rich, the gravy is thick, and it has generous amount of pieces of marinated chicken tikka mixed in the gravy. I believe this is made with a cashew sauce, you can see chunks of cashew in it and you taste the freshness of roasted tomatoes. Gone are the days of the rubbery flavorless chicken breast and the annoyingly sweet tomato sauce. Compared to their regular butter chicken, it was no competition. Their regular butter chicken also includes chicken tikka in the gravy, however, you can taste that aforementioned sweetness that I'm not the biggest fan of. In isolation, the regular butter chicken is good, but the side by side comparison makes it a no contest in favor of the Butterica. For the Veg lovers, the shahi paneer is freaking good! It has a distinct flavor, doesn't taste like generic butter gravy. It was rich in flavor and you can taste subtle spices and ginger. It is some of the best I've had. Their naan was good, comparable to most other establishments. It is the perfect vehicle to sop up the wonderful gravy. Hopefully more people will try this place and decide for themselves. Personally, I no longer need to go to Surrey for amazing Indian food.
I got to try this restaurant after hearing a lot of good things! Mannish and the staff are very wonderful, and their customer service is spot on. The food is very delicious and definitely worth a re-visit over and over. They have a variety of Indian cuisine, very impressive.
Wow!!! It was like 9:30ish in the night when i got to know about this place on their first day of opening. I was checking the menu but i already had my dinner i found mouth watering dishes and out of nowhere i called the place and ordered one fish finger just to try. Believe me i had to go Surrey to get these kind of food items. Honestly loved the very first thing i triedYummy. Definitely will go back to try other food options
Absolutely delicious! We ate in for dinner and the portions were generous for a great price 1 order of rice for 3 people!. Good service too. Can't wait to try take out!
Me and my family ordered appetizers and dinner for take out. Though the wait timing were 30 minutes as per owner because of the new opening, but it was REALLY WELL WORTH IT. Love the food with authentic and fusion flavor combination of both. We will definitely be returning..
Food was good. Medium was hot spicy. Appys, entrees and breads were excellent. Portion sizes were good.I would stay away from the Papri and Aloo Tikki Chaats. A total flop. They need to work on these.
***EDIT Nov 2022: Thank you Milaap for changing to a sturdier takeout container. We did takeout today and was happy they have changed all takeout containers. Absolutely no spillage. I am really surprised by some of the lower reviews as we found their curries quite tasty. To address some issues: 1 Of course rice is not included with the curry...it’s not food court Indian food. Most Indian restaurants such as the Bombay Sweets do not include free rice. To address this issue, they should include an extra option directly under each curry on skip the dishes. …also they should always ask if you want rice or nan bread at the counter. 2 curries were flavorful and of course not as authentic as eating curry in India, but we found it quite delicious with generous protein. Our now favorite Indian restaurant in the tri cities. 1-star off because: the lids on the takeout are super flimsy, & pop open too easily..one of them was leaking despite being super careful. We also felt their garlic naan bread was too hard/dry but garlic flavor was good. There was 1-2 small bones in their beef vindaloo, so make sure to check before serving seniors/young children. Overall, will return again!
