Sorry.......not great. We ordered the butter chicken and naan. The butter chicken had the consistency of tomato soup and frankly the flavour to match. Way to runny. I will say the actual chicken in the dish was nice, not too dry, but they hardly give you any. The naan was a bit on the chewy side. We are going to stick with our old faithful which is strictly Indian food. This place may offer too many styles of food which may mean they are just mediocre making all of them instead of being fantastic with one style. We don't recommend nor will we be ordering anything from them in the future... even though we only had the Indian since it was mediocre we are going to have to assume the rest is as well. I almost forgot... we ordered a piece of cheesecake as well..it was horrible, I actual think it had gone off and they smothered it with all this sweet sauce to cover it up. DISGUSTING. I hope we don't end up sick from the few bites we had before we realized there was something up. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Ordered roast lamb twice in the last two weeks. Generous portions, great flavor, pretty affordable compared to other Greek style restaurants. This restaurant offers free meals to people who cannot afford to pay for their own food. What an example for the industry as a whole. The only thing I would suggest is for them to keep track of the couriers they contract out to deliver their food. Most of the time is delivered late, cold or its dropped at the wrong location.
Wow!! I don't do reviews. But the food was so good. It was cooked perfectly and tasted authentic and flavorful. And it was a Friday night. I had the lamb souvlaki dish. Highly recommend if you like authentic seasoned greek food.
I've ordered from this restaurant twice on DoorDash and had pleasant experiences both times. Their items are usually a dollar or two less than other Indian restaurants in the area, which is nice. Their chicken tikka is definitely the highlight; unlike other restaurants, they actually attach a wooden skewer, which I really like.
Cant rate the atmosphere since i havent been inside yet Been ordering from jamilas for a good 2 years, in that time I cant remember a single bad meal. Everything is always in order in the bag, you get all your condiments, and the food is always fire and warm! Whether youre feeling for greek, afghan or indian its all good man, I tried the pizzas, the lamb, the chicken bro, the GOAT in the sauce dude! You want a cool dessert to wash down all that food tho i guarantee you gotta wait a bit after, try the Ras Malai, its light, sweet, yet savoury, the perfect way to cap off a full meal bros
our butter chicken and biryani was sooo poorly made. we just threw them into trash. not edible. way too much spice. I don't even think you guys taste your own food. its not the first time your order was like this. never ordering again waste of 50$
A hidden treasure the food was absolutely delicious great value for the price, really friendly people who use only the best ingredients it’s absolutely delicious 10 thumbs up. A definite must try.
We ordered Qabuli rice with beef kebab as take out and it was so delicious and also the food quality was great. They packed the food for us organized and nice. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone
The worst place ever. Don't get close to this place. Their food is dangerous. We found huge piece of glass in the dish. One of the pieces I swallowed and spent couple of hours at the emergency. I already submitted a report to Fraser Health. I don't want to talk to these rude people anymore respond to July 10 comment: Such a lie. I came to their place together with the receipt. They were rude and said that I can complain anywhere I want, they don't care
I'd say don't do skip the dishes or any food service because if you're expecting what you see in photos of dining in, you're going to be disappointed. Here's two orders of calamari for $13 each. Half full, cold, and soggy... and they forgot to include the tzatziki I ordered. What is calamari without tzatziki Edit: Thanks for taking the time to reply to my message. Maybe you're right, I could've called to rectify the issue, but the food still came out of your restaurant to be delivered to me, and your staff saw the condition of it before they packed it up. At that point, would someone from your restaurant have driven to my home to replace it? Or would it be a next time I dine with you, something happens? If it would have been the latter, I'll pass!
